Great spot for ski week get-away
My two tween kids and I enjoyed our mid-week stay at the cabin. It was a great location to access the snow while being an affordable and cozy place to stay.

We had very high expectations due to all the great reviews, but were left a bit disappointed. We chose this place for the cozy cabin vibes, but It wasn’t as cozy as expected. The beds were a bit too firm for our comfort and it was difficult to circulate the heat throughout the cabin. While Kim (host) was slow to respond, she was extremely apologetic. While our experience was mediocre, this cabin was decent enough and a good base camp for Yosemite excursions.

Anniversary Trip

Wonderful stay in Gold Rush Country
Kim’s property is located perfectly to explore the Southern part of Gold Rush Country. The property was a wonderful place to use as a base camp for daily explorations. It was clean, well stocked and nicely decorated. The bed was comfy and all electronics worked perfectly. We had everything we needed and Kim communicated clearly with us both before and during our stay. She met us when we arrived and went over any questions we had. We highly recommend Kim’s property to anyone seeking a relaxing, quiet vacation in Gold Rush Country.

I loved the cabin so much. It was extremely quiet and had beautiful views on the way to it. I really appreciate the owner coming out to cut the fire on for us. It made our stay so much better and we appreciate him for it!

Wonderful cabin getaway
This was a perfects location , and affordable, i was happy that after one day in yosemite, we got to do some things close to our cabin , we went to the blackoak casino has amazing food , and the apple cafe , and to pinecrest lake kayaking , and horse.back riding . Also downtown wed had concert in the park. The cabin was so cozy and had everything we needed . 💗 definitely recommended

Great Location for Day Trips
This clean and cozy cabin provides a convenient jumping off point for day trips to Pinecrest Lake, state and national forests, and quaint small towns. After your day trips, have cocktails on the deck as you watch the sun set. If the hummingbird feeder is full, you'll have lots of tiny visitors to entertain you!

Did want to leave.
We loved our stay. The cabin had every thing we needed. The beds were so comfortable. We both slept well. We explored Sonora, Jamestown, Columbia,and New Melones lake. The driving distance was not bad for any of our day trips. We looked forward to returning to the cabin. We loved playing the games in the breakfast area bench and the TV had plenty of channles. The cabin is beautiful and clean. I will definitely be renting here again.

This was a very cute spot. The place was immaculately clean when I arrived. Instructions was easy to find and follow. Kim was very responsive and helpful !! If you are looking for solitude, peace and quite, while being close to a town, this place is perfect.

Home away from home
Kim’s home, is airy, bright, and clean. All the amenities you will need are available in Kim’s lovely comfortable home . Very quiet area and surrounding. Loved seeing the hummingbird and hearing the lazy rooster in the morning😊 Kim is a great and thoughtful host. Super informative. Many thanks for the snacks and water on the way to Yosemite! Brodie cabin
Had a lovely stay here. Cabin is excellent. It is s very well equipped and very comfortable. Kim is most helpful. There are many thoughtful touches that make the cabin homely. The location is slightly off the beaten track, you need the car to go everywhere.

Yosemite Get Away
The cabin was perfect. Very clean. About an hour from Yosemite. I wanted my daughter and granddaughter to experience Yosemite. It is so beautiful. We had a great time and plan to be back some time.

Cottage getaway
We arrived late to soft music and snacks - such great care and consideration by the hosts. The kitchen was well stocked and allowed us to cook at home after a long day of hiking. This home was situated perfectly for our trip and allowed us to enjoy Yosemite, sleep well, and relax at the end of the day.

Like a home away from home
Brodie's Cabin is like a home away from home. Clean, comfortable and complete with everything to make this cabin a fun and relaxing stay. Kim was very helpful and responsive to our questions. Especially when Google GPS tried to navigate us into a forest road on the first day. The relaxing music and kind gesture of some welcoming snacks greeted us upon arrival. Kim is certainly a premier host. We will stay here again when we visit this area in the future.

A gem and relaxation
Had a amazing time at this cute little cabin. It was no more than 25 mins from the hot spots in town. We also enjoyed the accommodations because it made getting in and getting out so smooth and easy. The fire place added to the atmosphere and we had just enough technology for us to be entertained. Will be back

Well appointed homey luxury
Warm and cozy, effortless stay. Great outdoor space in the snow for snow play and easy sledding. Comfy beds and great shower pressure and hot water supply. Enjoyed reading in the bay window nook while the kids played in the snow. If you're traveling in the snow, be sure to back into the driveway for easy exit in snowy conditions. Road is plowed regularly.

Home away from home
The little yellow cabin was Amazing, clean and comfortable. The vaulted ceilings and layout made this cabin feel even more spacious than its 800sq feet. The attention to detail was evident in every room in the cabin. It was very clean and had every amenity you needed and more. The bed was so comfortable with high quality pillows and linens. Claw foot tub and towels were amazing. My children loved everything especially the trundle bed, window seat, games and movies. We loved everything so much, we were sad to leave the little yellow cabin we called home.

Warm and cozy
Well worth the experience. Beautiful, clean (very clean) and cozy. It allowed me to visit my daughter and granddaughter with all rhe comforts of home. Being able to cook meals and relax while keeping her work schedule and my family commitments during the day was our goal and having the cabin made for a much easier week than an overpriced hotel. The sunsets were gorgeous up there.

Super Bowl weekend
I made the reservation months ago planning on staying Super Bowl weekend. This was my first time using VRBO so I really didn’t know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Everything was nice and clean which was very nice. The only problem I had was due to my inexperience with renting a house/cabin therefore once I contacted the owner the issue was resolved quickly. I would stay here again.

Cozy retreat
The home was just as advertised … clean, comfortable and cute ( the 3 C’s) Enjoyed coming home after 2 days in the snow to a warm house ( love the “pot belly” heater.)Location worked for us as well… close to both snow and historic towns. Great communication with the host , Kim. She was helpful with recommendations as to what we were interested in. Would definitely consider coming back!

So clean and welcoming
Clearly the host cares about how you feel when you walk in the door of this lovely cabin. She took great care in cleaning, decorating and stocking this great little cabin. My small family loved the space, the bed was AMAZING and there were so many little things to discover. Every detail was covered . We wish we could have stayed longer . If you are looking to stay in this area and are a small group or couple- this is the perfect place. I can’t say enough !

Loved all the little touches!! The cabin was absolutely adorable and homey. Loved the smell walking into the cabin, the flowers and all the little details. The kitchen was well stocked and that’s extremely helpful for us because we did a lot of cooking. The Host was attentive and extremely friendly. Will recommend ❤️

Relaxing stay
Property was super cozy. Host was very accomdating. Only setback is that there are many dogs that bark up a storm almost all the time and kind of cuts into your quiet time. Overall I would comeback in a heartbeat.

Great cabin in the hills!!
Our family had a lovely stay in this great little cabin! It was clean with comfortable beds, and had everything we needed. About an hour from Yosemite with lots to see around the area. . Kim was great answering any questions we had. Would definitely come again!

If you want a cute little cabin to get away this is it. Beautiful area and lots of squirrels to watch while you drink your morning coffee on the deck.

Mountain Retreat
My husband and I stayed here for the weekend to do some planning for our future, and to be honest, have an uninterrupted conversation! The cabin was way more spacious than I expected. As stated everything we could need was at the house. In the middle of a heat wave we entered the house and it was almost chilly! Kim was easy to communicate with and did a great job setting up the info binder with expectations, information about the house, as well as local restaurants and events. We weren’t even in the house 10 minutes before we started planning when we would come again. The house is located in the back of a long string of roads. It takes about 10 minutes to get back to the main road. Not a bad thing, but you will definitely need to plan your trips.

Cute Cabin
We stayed in this cute cabin for 5 days. It was super clean, cool even with hot temps outside with 2 room a/c, cozy beds, stocked kitchen has almost every appliance one would need. Quite area. Host was very attentive when needed! Looking forward to another get-away here.
