"What a home… the view, the space, the location are all stunning. John made the check in incredibly simple and was kind enough to drop by the next day to welcome us. If you’re looking for (somewhat) remote tranquility on a stunning Irish peninsula, stop scrolling. For the very reasonable price John charges, you won’t find better. I promise you! We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo."

"Words cannot express how wonderful this cottage and our stay was! The cottage and the surrounding area are beautiful. (We absolutely loved the kitchen and the views). Our host Liam gave excellent recommendations; we loved horseback riding on the beach and hiking Diamond Hill. The beaches are a must see! Guys Bar in the downtown area had great food and servers. We miss being there and hope to return in the future."

"We had a great time staying at this property. It is in the heart of Connemara with easy access to Kylemore Abbey, Connemara NP, Clifden, Galway and Westport. The islands are very close as well. "Our stay was absolutely fabulous. The host is very nice and helpful. The house is like a palace and the views from the house are stunning. The house is very well equiped, I can't think of anything missing. They even have a 'kaasschaaf' (Dutch for 'cheese slicer). The house is also a good base for walks and trips to interesting sites in the proximity. We highly recommend it."
