Hotel simples mas honesto
Se você tiver em mente que se trata literalmente de um hotel de beira de estrada, ele tem tudo que você precisa. Não espere um conforto excepcional e nem amenidades. No entanto, o pessoal de recepção foi muito simpático e prestativo. Ele oferece um café da manhã em uma pequena sala, que fica lotada, mas é bem servido, apesar de simples. As toalhas de banho e rosto são finas e pequenas, mas a cama é confortável. O banheiro é bem apertado e o quarto como um todo precisa de uma renovação. Não há cofre no quarto.

Great place and convenient on the way to Jack Daniel distillery. The room was very clean and comfortable. The front desk attendant was very helpful and extremely nice. The restaurant next to it was great. I definitely recommend.

Mrs. Cruz,The only reason you would not recommend our hotel is because you smoked marijuana is the room and we charged you the cleaning fee for doing this. All of our rooms are non smoking rooms, so when guests smoke in the room of course we are going to charge them. When housekeeping got to your room they immediately called the front desk who then went to the room and could smell it then head of housekeeping was called and so was the general manager who also checked the room and could smell it. We tried explaining this to you but you would not let us speak, you kept speaking over us and yelling at us. We are not the ones who smoked in a non smoking room. That is why you put in this review.

Mr. Banks,We did want you to know that during your stay we did have a pipe bust in the building you were in due to the extreme cold temperatures that we had. But we did have a plumber here 1st thing that morning and they did have the hot water back on and running very early that morning. We did try calling all of our guests, you included, to offer them to go to one of the rooms in our other building to shower if they would like. Best Regards.

The room temperature was at 50 degrees when we walked in. It took at least an hour to warm up. The bathroom was extremely small. The coffee pot and hair dryers didn't work. The staff was friendly. The hotel served it's purpose on a cold winters night

We did want to let you know that the bathroom in the room that you were in is a standard size bathroom with the toilet and tub. We are sorry that your room was 50 degrees when you checked in but when you stayed it was during the coldest weather we have had in over 10 years. As far as the coffee pot and hair dryer not working, after reading your review we did go and check them both and they work fine, it was the reset button that we had to push in. If you would have let us know any of this we would have taken care of it right then or we could have moved you to a different room since guest satisfaction is our top priority.Thank you for your business.Sincerely,

The bedframe was squeaky. There was only lukewarm water, so I couldn’t take a shower, not that I wanted to because it hadn’t been clean very well. It wasn’t filthy, but it wasn’t clean either.

The hotel is decent for the price. I found a bug in the first room but the front desk lady I think was named Amy was great she gave us another room that we did not have issues with. The beds are hard and can use to be updated. For the small town it is the hotel is not bad just needs some TLC

Overall for 1 night this hotel was sufficient. We never could get the a/c unit working right. The bed wasn't very comfortable but the pillows were good. The shower was very small. It is a bit cramped in the bathroom. The mexican restaurant attached to the hotel was very convenient after a long drive. Only had interaction with 2 staff members upon checking in/out. No issues there. Had to give $100 deposit for room incidents which i got back after the room was checked. I recommend cash for deposit so they can just give it back vs having to reverse the charge on your card.

We were surprised that you thought the bed was uncomfortable since we have pillow top mattresses on all of our beds and most of our guests seem to like the beds. Check in was good. Service representative was very professional and informative. The room was nicely decorated and clean, but it was a bit “stuffy” as the air unit was not turned on. The beds looked really comfortable, but, unfortunately, they were not. The square pillows were hard to position for comfort, the mattress seemed a bit worn, and the entire bed squeaked and groaned quite loudly with the slightest move. The bed covers were also a bit too heavy for my liking. The continental breakfast was decent considering it was weekday, but would have liked to see healthier options such as fruit and yogurt, unsweetened cereals, and maybe hot cereal choices. Check out was rushed with the front desk knocking on door 2 hours before checkout time (9 am) claiming that my room was the last waiting to be cleaned by housekeeping for the day.

The linens were repaired, the lamp shade on one side of the bed was yellowed and stained. New lamp shades and linens would have gone a long way to improve the room. The inside appeared recently renovated but the bath room was tiny and not resized. There was space to enlarge it. This hotel was run down compared to the others we stayed in on this road trip . We were on 2nd floor ,no elevator which was Ok. We are seniors but able to do the stairs. But we made multiple trips to room to bring in baggage. Pool and ice machine broken during our stay, but ice available at office. The front desk staff was friendly and kind. It appeared a popular spot for workmen to stay while traveling. There was a coffee maker,fridge and microwave in room.

The stairs were very dirty, pool was not working and drained. A lot of traffic coming in and out all night. People standing outside of the rooms . Very uncomfortable, never stay there again. Bed was horrible.

Donna,What you wrote in your review is not completely true. The stairs have some dried mud on them from people coming from the horse show which we will take care of now that the event is over. As far as the pool, it is noted on the Expedia site that our pool in closed due to being under renovation due to damage from an underground leak. The traffic that you mention was people coming back from the horse show which we have no control over since we are an open corridor hotel and the show was very late getting over. So people of course will be late coming in unfortunately. Last, all of our beds have new pillow top comforter mattresses which most of our guests really enjoy. If at any time during your stay you felt uncomfortable or had any issues or complaints, if you would have let the front desk know then we would have taken care of them. We do want to let you know that our front desk does property checks every 1 to 2 hours making sure that everything is quiet on our property and on the night that you stayed with us other than guests coming back from the horse show all was quiet. The hotel for the past 3 days was sold out and when guests came to check out most of them gave us compliments as of right now you are the only guest that had issues.

The mattress was so hard that every time one of us moved we woke the other one up with the noise.. it was so loud that we thought it was storming.. Also I was charged $100 for essentials & haven't been refunded.. $100 is a little extreme.. the room room smelled so bad we had to freeze till the smell was a little better..

Sharlette, We do not understand your comment regarding the bed being hard and noisy since all of our beds are pillow top comforter mattresses, plus we have never heard of a mattress making noise. We did go and check the bed in the room you were in, sitting and even bouncing on the bed and never heard a noise. We have had no complaints from any of our other guests in-fact we get a lot of good reviews on our beds being comfortable. As far as the deposit for incidentals, we do have signs posted regarding the deposit and how long it could take to get back on guests cards, as long as nothing is damaged or missing from the room and your room was fine. We did go over it with you when you checked in letting you know that it could take 4 to 10 business days to go back onto your card and you just checked out 1 day ago. We have been charging 100.00 for the last 8 years, this is not something that we just started. Other hotels in our area charge a 200.00 to 250.00 deposit. Lastly if the room smelled why would you not let the front desk know. We did a courtesy call after you checked in and you said that everything was good with the room? If it had a smell and you would have told us we could have taken care of it or moved you to another room since we want all of our guests to have a nice stay while with us.

Wow, it was so bad we left after 1 night. We could not stay there. Smelled terrible in stairwell and in room. Floor so dirty our socks turned black just walking across floor. Dust caked in the bathroom fan. One lampshade was discustingly stained and dirty. Pool closed. Breakfast had 1 yogurt in the whole cooler, 4 slices of plain bread, barely any crumbles of eggs. They did have plenty of sausage. Outside had litter everywhere. Under the steps was a shopping basket filled with discusting garbage. We voiced our concerns at the front desk while checking out, but received a denial of it all from the owner on our Google review, even though we included some photos. I know it is technically non-refundable, but I am going to try and get at least something back.

Mr. DeLong,As we wrote while answering the last review you wrote, what you are writing in the reviews is completely untrue, and we don't say that lightly. If at any time you had any issues/concerns and you would have brought them to our attention, then we would have been more than happy to take care of them and/or move you to a different room but you did not bring any of this to our attention. Guest satisfaction is our top priority but if guests don't let us know about any issues/concerns then we can't fix them. We did go to the room you were in and even took pictures and none of the things you mentioned are correct. The room was not as you wrote, dirty inside and out. The fan in the bathroom and the lamp shade next to the bed were not filthy. As far as breakfast we check it every 15 minutes and keep it stocked for all of our guests even having more than what is required by Quality Inn. If you read some of our other reviews most of them say that they enjoyed our breakfast. Lastly, we do not have shopping baskets filled with garbage under any of our stairwells so we do not know what you are referring to. As far as you receiving a denial from the owner, we do not have any owners at our property working and/or answering reviews. I am the manager and answer all reviews. So again we do not know what you are referring to. We are a corporate owned business and again do not have any owners at our property. If we had owners here then why would they need me. Mr. DeLong, we are human and sometimes we miss things when cleaning or even when inspecting the rooms, but this is one time I have to say that you are wrong. Not to be rude but if I had a prepaid, no cancel reservation that could not be refunded then I would bring any issues/concerns to the front desk's attention so they could either fix them or move me to another room. I would not waste my money. We did not know you had left until reading your review. Why would you just leave and not bring any of this to our attention, especially when you have paid for the room for 5 nights? We have someone at the front desk 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Again, not to be rude it just doesn't make sense.Best Regards

Strange single chair in a space where a small couch or 2 chairs should be. Floor cleaner leaves the floor oily and slippery very dangerous. TV remote broken. Battery cover falls off requiring 2 hands to operate remote. TV works poorly. Takes numerous times on and off and substantial delays to get remote to change channels or move through guide. Toilet teeters on floor. Can’t believe this doesn’t leak. Bath and shower fixtures are loose in the wall. I have to assume these are leaking in the wall. Homeless people sitting around under the west stairwell. Garbage out on the grass outside of the west stairwell. Had to call the manager to get someone to stop playing loud music out of their car with open doors in the middle of the parking lot at 9:00PM. Bed is noisy and clunky. Sitting or moving on the bed is loud enough to keep me awake which is difficult to do. Some of these poor functioning or damaged items should be obvious to any service staff which tells me the organization has poorly trained staff or doesn’t care about these issues. I informed the staff I did not want housekeeping during my stay. Housekeeping was in the room the day before my departure. I don’t like people handling my stuff. I don’t like people who don’t follow instructions.

Mr. Huston,1st of all you stayed with us for 5 nights and during the 5 nights of your stay not once did you bring any of these issues/concerns to our attention. After reading your review we went to the room you were in and we found nothing of any truth as to what you wrote. Plus just so you know, the room you were in for 5 nights has been rented every night since you checked out and we have had no complaints from any of our guests. The floor cleaner that is used on our floors does not leave the floors oily and slippery plus it is required by Quality Inn and comes from EcoLab. The remote to the TV works fine, nothing is wrong with it. Maybe you were not pointing it at the TV receiver in order to change the channels? How can you assume that the bath and shower fixtures are leaking in the wall? If this was true then it would be running into the downstairs room and we can assure you that it is not. So please don't assume. Regarding as you said, homeless people sitting around under the stairwell that is totally untrue. We have a place between the buildings where guests can smoke and grill out or even just sit and chat and guests use this space so maybe you assumed they were homeless which you should not do. As far as you calling the manager about someone playing loud music in their vehicle, I am the Manager and not once did I speak with you regarding any of these issues much less someone playing loud music. Never did you tell us you did not want housekeeping during your 5 night stay and you did not have the do not disturb sign hanging on your door so of course we are going to provide housekeeping as we do with all of our guests. Now if you would have had the do not disturb sign on your door then we would never had entered your room. Mr. Houston, assumption doesn't work at our hotel. If you had all of these issues then why would you stay with us for 5 nights and not bring any of it to our attention?

The staff was very nice. It was an older building. It seemed to be quiet. There were two adjoining doors in my room leading to the rooms on both sides of me. The sink had a crack through it. Since I was in an upstairs room, I had to walk up stairs that were obscured. There were restaurants and shopping nearby. It was a convenient location to the activities we had planned.

Convenient location and surprisingly quiet, despite main road location and railroad behind. Clean, updated everywhere but the bed which was very poor, old and creaky. Staff were friendly, attentive and caring. The included breakfast was fine and as expected.
