"Perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Bill and Christine were amazing hosts and answered every question we had, and greeted us upon arrival to explain the ins and outs of the cottage. The cottage itself was perfect as well and had everything we needed and more. Our dog loved to run around the property chasing chipmunks and running into the water. "Me, my siblings and friends had a great stay in this cottage for 4 nights and definitely had a blast. The cottage has all the equipments you need for a comfortable stay. They also provided firewoods for bonfires right beside the lake. Also, the lake has very clean water good for both swimming and fishing. Extra ameneties like paddle boat, kayaks, stand up board and water vests. The location is great for a quiet getaway and also provides great privacy."

"We spent a fall weekend with our 8-year-old and dogs. We all had a great time. The property is exactly as described. We spent much of our time on the river and the fire pit at the edge of the river was wonderful. Comfortable home with everything you need. It was great to have shopping amenities 8 minutes away. Overall perfect for what we wanted and we'd be happy to return."

"The perfect place for a cottage getaway. Wonderful venue for winter activities, cloae to sledding, snowmobiling, skating. Hottub was a wonderful experience under the stars after a cold day. Clean, well stocked, comfy and good room for our family of 4. Hosts went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. If I could give this 6 stars, absolutely would. Will definitely be booking for the summer!"

"The only issue is the single washroom located at the 2nd floor. It would have been better if there is a powder room or another washroom at the main floor.Also, the vanity sink at the washroom is always clogging. But over all the place is good."

"We had a great family vacation at Round Lake. The cottage is accurately described and has all the essentials plus some extras (we didn’t get round to experimenting with the air fryer!). "Have stayed at cottage 3 times now to attend Bancroft Curling Bonspiel. Perfect location and accommodation for the 4 of us, each getting our own bedroom. All aspects of accommodation met our needs as it is a cozy comfortable place and the host Jesse was very easy to communicate with and answer any questions we had. Will definitely stay here again."

"Bill was a very good host, helpful and interesting but not intrusive in any way so our stay was very peaceful in a green setting. The accommodation is very well equipped and the food provisions for breakfast excellent and including local products. Visitors have to be aware that the nearest town of several, Madoc, is 25km away but has all one could wish. "

"We were a party of 4 families totaling 13 people. We stayed at the cottage the 3rd week in June. The cottage is very clean and comfy with enough room for everybody. The A-Frame was a pleasant surprise. A pretty cool place to stay. The cottage is on a beautiful lake with crystal clear water.
