"Excellent 4 day stay.The cabin was right out of a cottage design magazine! Beautifully decorated , well equipped and cozy. Everything was well thought out. Kitchen had everything. Wall to wall windows in open concept kitchen/living room and dining room with views of the forest in every window! Loved when the deer came to the deck in the evening. Loved the comfy sectional to cozy up and read or watch tv at night. It was so peaceful and quiet and yet the village with grocery store and liquor store...

"Great place! Had all the amenities. Very welcoming. Great location. Thank you to the host! Our family had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended. Easy access for manoeuvring our 24ft snowmobile trailer. OFSC Snowmobile Trail 179 was right out front. Hot tub was great! Beds were comfy. Very clean and comfortable. Dog friendly allowed us to bring our fur babies. Host was very attentive to all our questions. "

"What a great week … as others stated the property exceeded expectations …. Nice and roomy.. Kitchen is super well equipped … checkin was a breeze as door code provided and easy entrance. Master has great view of lake and sunrise… 2 bathrooms with showers is a bonus… water toys and inflatables were great as was the hot tub … lots of comfy chairs on dock and deck…. Screen in room overlooks lake and is excellent for your morning coffee and reading time…Fire pit area is large and roomy and ample...

"It is a great place to stay for weekend either with family or friends. Nothing fancy but it has everything you need. Hosts are friendly and responsive when you have questions during the stay. "

"Our stay was okay however the property was quite messy and differed greatly from the online listing. The listing said there would be things such as wifi and when we arrived we were told we had to bring our own wifi. This did not majorly impact our stay as we still had a good time however it was disappointing to not have amenities that were on the listing."

"A beautiful picturesque cottage in a very quiet and peaceful area. Everything worked well, and was clean in every aspect. We didn't canoe at all as we're not really on-the-water people, but we enjoy relaxing by it...nearby Bancroft had everything we needed as well. Had a nice relaxing time."

"The perfect slice of tranquility. We were immersed in nature. That means quiet, bird song and croaking frogs. It meant a visit from a tortoise, turkeys and the sound of whispering leaves. The cabin is well appointed and clean. It felt comfortable. It was the relaxing getaway... with ping pong and a little canoeing. The only downside was some mosquito bites... expect that when going into nature! Overall, it couldn't have been better. "

"Perfect cozy cottage for a group of 4 or 5. We swam off the dock, went fishing and kayaking during the day, and had a nice campfire in the evenings. Located on a beautiful lake!! Highly recommend!"

"My girlfriend and I stayed at the hidden nest for 5 days and had an exceptional time! The pictures don't really do it justice, the property is beautiful and so quaint. Maria was super responsive whenever we reached out to her and very accommodating. Cute little neighbourhood as well, neighbours were very friendly. Check-in/check-out instructions were very clear. In addition to the cottage itself, there was much to do by way of activities in the area (hiking, car shows, art galleries, etc.) but...

"Communication was spot on with host. The place was a lovely cottage and three of the four bedrooms had walk out sliding doors. It was easy to get into and worked perfectly for our stay. Only bummer is so many geese (which isn’t an issue as we love animals) just LOTS of Goose poop all over the yard but that can’t be something that’s really fixed since it’s wildlife - so it’s good to be aware of it! (Especially if you will have young kids with you.) "

"The inside of this property contained everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Kitchen utensils/gadgets, seasonings, coffee/selection of herbal teas, foil and even bug spray. The cottage was incredibly clean and there were plenty of linens provided. Outdoor amenities were a disappointment but management was willing to discuss and compensate us for the watercraft rental when we weren’t able to use the (inflatable) kayak. "The hosts helped us out at the last minute after our other plans were cancelled the night before. So friendly. The cottage was very clean and all the amenities were great. We would definitely stay again."
