Jamie! I am surprised at your review. The Moccamaster works beautifully. When we were on the phone I could have easily walked you through how to work it. Glad you found the back up coffee maker! The pool and gym key cards might have been deactivated in order to improve security at the pool. If you would have let me know, I could have at them rekeyed. Takes about 10 seconds. Better yet, the Clubhouse could have brought you new key cards. Had I known, we could have taken care of key cards. I could let the club know about the thermostat? Our casita has a territorial Desert & Mountain View . It’s quite lovely and private. Most of my guests return year after year to enjoy it. I hope you find a better fit for your next stay in Tucson.

Wow! This is a bummer. I was told by some incredible property owners and hospitality experts over a decade ago, that there is always that one random guest that is miserable no matter what you do. Overall, I have been fortunate! So many wonderful guests over many, many years. I feel so bad for Bryan & Liz. They are so unhappy as human beings. I went above and beyond for them. The casita was immaculate, exactly what I advertised. I provide pictures of every detail of my property. The weather was wonderful, they had access to every amenity. I kept them updated with local events and checked in on them to see if I could be of assistance. We had a contract for the dates that they booked. That contract is clear and they had to sign off on the cancellation policy before they could reserve my casita. That contract is through Vrbo and protects the renters and homeowners alike. Bryan & Liz wanted to cancel some dates and change the contract around mid stay and that just wasn't an option. They also wanted to stay longer and I had other guests arriving so I couldn't accommodate their longer stay either. I really do try my best to accommodate my guests. The bed situation for our casita has been quite the adventure. Beds are so subjective, aren't they? I used to have Sealy Posturepedic Mattresses, and many guests loved them. Most guests despised them so I switched to a pillow top Beautyrest. Again, many applauded the new mattress and some were upset by the change. I did more research and found a mattress via Amazon that was comfortable and non hypo allergenic and received wonderful feedback from some of my guests whose opinions I value. Anyway, I feel so bad that Bryan & Liz are so unhappy and feel the need to give my casita such a painfully, shockingly low rating. Please know that I will continue to do my best, providing exceptional service and my comfortable Sonoran Desert Oasis to travelers from all over the world.

This is shocking to me, Kristine! When I checked in on you upon your arrival, you said everything was fine! I wish you could have let me know these concerns so that I could have addressed them immediately! I take tremendous pride in my Casita and am happy to send my cleaning crew to assist need be. The pictures of my casita are accurate. What you see is (truly) what you get. When you booked my Oasis in Starr Pass, you can clearly see leather sofa and accent chair. Sofa is comfortable with Western Charm. Many of my return guests love the leather sofa! Again, I am disappointed you didn’t have the five star experience I strive to provide.
