"Lovely and clean cottage in a rural farm neighbourhood. Very peaceful and quiet. Comfortable for a couple to stay here. Great location within finger lakes region of New York State for wine and cider tastings and visits to state parks. Central to Ithaca and Watkins Glen, and reasonably close to Corning to see the glass museum, which is a must for everyone. Cottage is lovely and clean with modern appliances, bathroom, and kitchen, but at the same time has a rustic feel. Thank You Liza!"

"This house is even better than described. I have rented many homes that say they have a fully stocked kitchen, but Lone Retreat means it! Quality - and quantity - of everything you need to enjoy homemade meals during your stay. High-end appliances and coffeemakers, too. "Property was great and as described. Small, but clean and comfortable for the two of us. Great location for Keuka and Seneca lake trips. We had a small issue with a terrible storm and the air conditioner and the manager as well as owner made sure everything was taken care of. Would definitely stay again. "

"Shelwyn was awesome to deal with. He responded ASAP when we had a question about the shower. Was upfront and helpful. He was in his house on the property but gave us our privacy. The last day of our stay he said take your time getting out because he didn’t have another booking following us. Worked out great as we were moving onto a bigger spot with the rest of our family on Saturday but couldn’t check in until 4. Thank you Shelwyn for everything and being so easy to deal with- we will be back !!"

"We had a phenomenal time ant our stay (mostly due to the farm animals lol.) Everyone was very friendly. The family has their kids over for the summer and it’s a very welcoming space seeing everyone playing. Cell service is spotty in the area so make sure you have the instructions on the map pulled up to get there. "
