"Positively: the room was clean, we appreciated a room with 3 queen beds, the AC worked, check-in was smooth Negatively: the breakfast was high carb with few protein options and the coffee was out, our room was hot when we arrived and the AC took a long time to cool down, the bathroom fan did not work"

"For the price, it was a good place to stay for one night. At that price, you can't expect perfection, but the room was clean and comfortable. Some of the furnishings were a little dated (one lamp did not work), but the A/C and fridge worked well, the bed was comfortable, and the shower hot. The lady at the check-in desk was helpful but seemed to be manually writing down our credit card number on a slip of paper, which was a little disconcerting as we don't know where that will end up."

"If you like the feel of an era of a time gone by, you will not be disappointed. This place has been restored to spindler and makes the entire place easier to just relax. The staff on duty were attentive without being intrusive and we were able to be ourselves. I really hope we get a chance to return as I would really really enjoy a longer stay."

"Our room was clean and comfortable. We loved the location of the property to the downtown area. We stayed here during Washington’s Art and Wine Fest which was all within walking distance. There is a steep hill coming up to the property but there is a public parking lot just below on Front street so you can drive down and park there if you want to walk around town and then drive up the hill upon your return to Elijah’s. "I checked in Tuesday evening and the front desk lady was very unfriendly. It was jarring and unexpected. I can definitely understand circumstances and different personalities, but it went beyond that. She was mean. Aside from that, I had a few issues with my room. There was a strong musty smell in the room that I'm guessing is from lack of air flow. I got stuffy just being in the room. Other than that, my room was good.
