Located within the prestigious Schaffer’s Mill community of Truckee and positioned across from the scenic 7th hole, this beautifully updated home blends mountain modern design, thoughtful amenities, and curated guest experiences with the comfort and warmth Tahoe is known for.

Whether you are heading to Northstar for first tracks, spending summer days on Lake Tahoe, exploring Downtown Truckee, or simply relaxing around the firepit after a day of adventure, The Overlook is designed to make Tahoe easy to enjoy.

You’ll have full and exclusive access to the townhome during your stay, including the private hot tub, outdoor spaces, kitchen, workspaces, and available guest activity gear. Relax, unwind, and make yourself at home.

Guests do not have access to Schaffer’s Mill community amenities. The Overlook is designed as a private, self-contained retreat with its own hot tub, firepit, outdoor dining area, golf cart, lake gear, pickleball paddles, two living areas, and fully stocked kitchen.
QUIET HOURS: 9:00 PM – 8:00 AM. We want everyone, including our neighbors, to enjoy a peaceful stay. Please keep noise to a minimum during quiet hours, as sound should not be audible from neighboring properties. We kindly ask that you move all conversations and activities indoors after 9:00 PM. Thank you for helping us be respectful neighbors!
No smoking anywhere on the property.
No Pets or Animals
No open flames - Tahoe’s forests are highly fire-prone.
No parties, events, or commercial shoots.
Shoes off inside, please, to help preserve the newly refreshed interiors.
This is a three-level townhome, and stairs are required.
BBQ, patio furniture, lake gear, and outdoor activity items may be seasonal and weather dependent.
Golf cart use is subject to Schaffer’s Mill community rules, local requirements, and availability.
Guests are responsible for safe use, transport, and return of all activity gear.
Max 3 vehicles: 1 in garage, 2 in driveway.

🚨 Things to Keep in Mind
Tahoe’s beauty comes with unpredictability, including storms, wildfire conditions, changing lake conditions, and occasional service interruptions. Refunds for such issues are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Our cancellation policy is firm. No refunds for weather, road conditions, or air quality. We recommend purchasing travel insurance for peace of mind. Guests planning to use lake or outdoor gear should also consider weather, road, parking, and lake conditions when planning activities.
