Sierra Rock Hus has some of the most amazing views in the greater Lake Tahoe Area. The house sits on a ridge at 7000 ft with a 180-degree view overlooking Donner Lake and the Sierra Crest.

Amenities
SRH is a rustic but modern chalet with a multi-level great room supported by old growth beams salvaged from Terminal Pier Long Beach and redwood siding sourced from an abandoned train snowshed. The new kitchen keeps with the theme by using railroad spikes for hardware, but no matter how rustic certain elements might be, SRH has all the latest modern amenities:

• 65" 4K TV in great room with Netflix, Prime Video and Cable (also in bedrooms).
• Sonos sound system with play-bar, sub woofer and surround sound speakers.
• 48" Professional Dual Fuel Range with 6 Burners, Griddle, Double Ovens, Custom Hood, Microwave Drawer, Stainless-steel Dishwasher and built in frig.
• Dual Zone Wine Cooler and Wet Bar with Beverage Center.
• Toto Washlets in bathrooms, fully automated with remote control, auto open and close lid, heated seat, and instantaneous water heating.
• Radiant Heated entry floors and Gear-dryer for boots and gloves in laundry room.
• Custom indoor gas fireplace built into granite boulder with remote control.
• Great room has two Big Ass fans as well as a ceiling fan in master bedroom.
• Lutron whole home lighting system & Nest Thermostat and smoke/cm detectors.
• Custom furniture throughout with many natural live edge pieces and more.
• Take in the view in our 6-person Hot Springs jacuzzi and watch the stars while sitting by the 5’ x 5’ gas fire pit with log bench seating.

Layout
• Great Room – two story room with open kitchen and multiple sitting areas with views over Donner Lake and the Sierra Crest. The great room allows everyone to be together while still having the space to do their own thing.
• Sunken Fire lounge -within the great room is a huge granite boulder “The Rock” that the house was built around. A cavity was blasted into the kitchen side of the rock for a custom built in gas fireplace. Built around the fireplace is a sunken lounge area with reading lights and some comfy lounge seating.
• Kitchen/Dining -the new kitchen provides all the modern amenities you would expect from a luxury home. As the kitchen is a natural place to congregate there is a breakfast nook and table as well as island counter seating. Also, just a short flight of stairs up from the kitchen is the wet bar and dining room with a custom dining table for built from single piece of a 3.5” think American Black Walnut.
• Entry/Wash/Powder room- coming in from the new covered entryway or the large two car garage you are welcomed with heated stone floors and a metal tractor wheel chandelier.
• Bedrooms:
 Master - Live edge walnut California King Bed with 50” flat screen TV.
 Second - Custom Walnut Queen been and 30” 4K TV.
 Murphy - tucked behind the rock is a custom full-sized murphy bed
• Bathrooms:
 Two full baths with rustic slate stonework and modern fixtures, one with glassed in shower the other with shower over tub design.
 The Powder room near the entry has custom rock basin with unique hardware and is next to the laundry room with stacked GE washer and dryer and the Gear-Dryer to keep your boots and gloves toasty in winter time.

Easy access in winter to some of the best big mountain skiing in the west with Squaw/Alpine Meadows, Northstar, Sugar Bowl and more.
