"I stayed at the hotel with my husband for 5 nights and, as soon as you walk in, you feel that you made the right choice. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and very chic, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes a great first impression. We stayed in a standard room and I did find the size a bit small. Although it was comfortable, I think it could be slightly larger to better accommodate movement and winter clothing, especially for guests traveling to cold destinations. The breakfast is exceptional — one of the best I’ve had in any hotel. Everything is very well prepared, with great variety and quality. The hotel is also very quiet and comfortable, and the staff were extremely kind and attentive throughout our stay. The terrace is a big highlight and really adds to the experience. One suggestion would be to allow a bit more flexibility in the use of the spa, as it currently requires scheduling and an additional fee. Another suggestion would be to offer simple late-night snacks for guests returning from Northern Lights tours, such as soup or something light. Many tourists go on these tours and after 10 pm almost everything in the city is closed. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend the hotel."

"Our stay at Sommarøy Arctic Hotel was truly memorable, mainly because of its unique and breathtaking location. The setting is absolutely one of a kind, and the views from our room were spectacular — waking up surrounded by such natural beauty was an unforgettable experience. The breakfast was also impeccable, with excellent quality and variety. However, there are a couple of important points that need improvement. The dinner menu urgently needs to be reformulated. The options were quite limited and did not match the overall standard and expectations created by the hotel and its incredible setting. Another disappointing aspect was the hot tub experience. We had reserved it in advance, but unfortunately my husband was not even able to remove the large cover plastic contraption, and there was no staff available to assist us at the time. This was frustrating, especially since it was something we were really looking forward to. Overall, the location and views are extraordinary and make the hotel very special, but some service and dining improvements would make the experience truly exceptional. "

"Hotel expetacular e com excelente custo benefício. Muito bem localizado, literalmente, no centro de Tromsø. Fizemos praticamente tudo à pé. Café da manhã excelente. No nosso quarto, teve arrumação todos os dias, mas nao teve limpeza do banheiro, apenas troca de toalhas. Único ponto que talvez possa ser corrigido pelo hotel. No mais, só elogios. "
