"I stay at the R&F frequently when visiting family back home in Barnstaple. The hotel is lovely and staff fantastic and I truly don’t have any issues at all. My recent stay however was totally ruined by the position/allocation of the room, which I stress is nobody’s fault, however I did experience a terrible night of deprived sleep which isn’t acceptable. "A wonderful place to stay in Ilfracombe. Lorraine and Adrian were excellent hosts and very welcoming. My room and ensuite were great, with a view down over the town and towards the sea. Spotlessly clean. There is a new terrace area for seating outside and they have retained the Honesty Bar downstairs with a range of beers, ciders, wine and soft drinks. The breakfast area opens out on to the terrace and the Breakfast menu is truly amazing with a massive choice and ALL dietary needs catered for....

"Womderful location in the middle of cliffs and sea. Rooms well maintained with a view to die for. Reserve a table for dinner, it can get full outside. We had a great time staying here, one of the highlights of our trip."
