"This old staple of Mission Beach has recently changed hands. The new owners Tom and Kevin are super nice, genuine and helpful. My room and bed was comfortable and well appointed and looked on to the beautiful tropical courtyard. Recommended."

"Best hostel I’ve stayed at in Australia! Staff are incredible (especially Sarah). Location is stunning - it’s remote but gorgeous. I would -*highly* recommend a couple of nights here on your East Coast travels and certainly better than staying in Mission Beach which is full of construction. Despite being so remote, the prices at the cafe are very reasonable and the food and drinks are great quality. Spacious rooms, lovely communal areas, good bathrooms. "The staff were friendly and really made the trip. Everywhere was clean and the gardens beautiful. My only issue was the food, looked pretty but I didn't think it compared to the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was good but not such a fan of the dinner menu."
