"We enjoyed having our “own” cabin. It was a duplex but felt like your own space. We were right by the playground, which my kids loved! We ordered food from the restaurant twice while we were there and it was good! It was a convenient location for our visit to Badlands & Mt. Rushmore. We also enjoyed having our own patio to sit outside and hangout."

"really close to lots of tourist spots, i enjoyed shopping and eating in areas near by. also super well placed town in between rapid city and custard. we loved staying in a lodge instead of a hotel. "

"We stayed here with my entire family for a little hills getaway. We loved the location. Tucked away outside of hill city, in a small development. There were horses running around in the area that the kids could feed and interact with. The bike trail is right on the property also. Huge grassy yard. Hot tub was nice. Pool was also nice. The house is huge. Lots of space for everyone and plenty of sleeping space "

"This was a fabulous location, quiet, peaceful and surrounded by beauty and wildlife! It was close to restaraunts and attractions but away from the hustle and bustle. I loved having outdoor seating both in front and in back of the house. The host was super responsive when we had a request during our stay. "

"Gorgeous! The place was clean and wonderfully decorated. The views were amazing!Host was wonderful to talk to and offered many tips of things in the area. Maps were included of things to see/visit.Can't wait to stay again!"

"We had no idea where to stay and when I came across pictures of this lodge I knew this was it. We arrived and we were greeted by Deb as we were checking the place out before we went to look for our room. Very sweet lady! It was soooo relaxing to come back at night after our adventures to relax on the front porch! Don’t hesitate book this lodge now!! We will definitely be back!"

"Wow! Can’t say enough positives about our stay at Ghost Canyon. Communication with our host was absolutely the best we have ever had at any VRBO property. "The only reason I don’t want to write this review is that I worry our summer timeslot will be filled with other lucky groups.This was our second summer staying at this lodge for our multi-generational family, and it was just as perfect as the first time.
