"Check-in was super fast, and the staff were very welcoming. The outside of the property looked a little tired and could use some attention, but the room itself was fantastic. We booked an Executive Room, which was upstairs overlooking the pool. The room appeared to have been recently renovated and was modern, clean, and equipped with everything you could need, including a microwave, coffee machine, and charging docks on both sides of the bed for phones. "We recently stayed at Big 4 Rowes Bay Beachfront Holiday Park in Townsville and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I had booked two cabins for our group, but upon arrival, I was only allocated one. When I returned to reception and showed our booking confirmation clearly indicating two cabins/units, the General Manager was dismissive and showed no interest in helping resolve the issue (maybe becoz I am Asian). "It was a convenient location and accessible. The actual room was dirty and had mould on the kitchenette cabinets and through the bathroom. Buy some mould killer and go through the rooms one by one cleaning the mould out of them. Very off-putting and most likely won't stay there again."
