"The location is great for visiting Acadia National Park, but overall our stay was average. The biggest issue was maintenance. Both the bathroom sink and bathtub were clogged and drained very slowly throughout our stay. Bedroom clean doesn't happen daily even we hang the please clean my room sign. Room also lacked some basic amenities that would have made it much more comfortable, such as a microwave, electric kettle, and a small desk. "Great, helpful and friendly staff!!! Great price and location. Only issues were very minor, and any issues that were addressable were immediately remedied. We were also aware before arriving that the pool is no longer available, although it is not physically removed as of yet. Note that it is a slightly older hotel, so if you have mobility issues, be sure to request a ground floor room, since there is no elevator to the second floor. "Loved everything about this hotel -- location and the room itself was so cute. The only issue I had was there was some miscommunication regarding an issue we needed resolved. The reps from the hotel texted back and forth with me about it before we left, but the issue was never solved really. They did call later to try to follow up, but we were already on our way. I did appreciate the effort to follow up though. Overall, a nice place."

"Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean ,fresh and perfect for a short or long stay IMO. A/C worked great and the heat did too. Plenty of hot water. Microwave and small fridge with a freezer kept our freezer packs frozen. We would not hesitate to book again ! A very easy walk to the town center of Bar Harbor and the Island Express Buses to get around the island for FREE. The buses take you into and all over Acadia National Park. Lines can get long.."

"This is an interesting property, just outside of Bar Harbor. The hotel has a series of separate buildings with 4 units per building. Our room had a great set -up for my family with a bedroom with 2 double beds and a bedroom with a king bed. The breakfast was decent and filling. There’s a path at the back of the property that leads to a carriage road into the park. The staff was helpful throughout our visit. We didn’t take advantage of the events but there were s’mores every evening around a fire...
