"The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. The flooring has been replaced recently. The wall are rather thin and we could hear everything that was being talked about in the adjoining rooms and outside. Luckily, the other guests weren’t up too late as to keep us awake. "

"The room was really nice. Unfortunate that they don’t wipe the outdoor detritus off the Adirondack chairs and balcony. We would have enjoyed using that feature of the room but the balcony and chairs were filthy. Everything else was great."

"The hospitality of the staff especially Ginny the owner of this fine establishment was very helpful and were great to chat with regarding the region of the Adirondacks. Let me not forget to mention the rooms are cozy, impeccable and lovely decorated by Ginny who is true artist. I do plan on visiting this area of the Adirondacks again and the Balsams will be base camp when exploring this beautiful area. "

This Lodge has everything you could want; cozy clean updated rooms with a great view of the lake from your balcony, friendly engaging staff, delicious food so you don't have to leave for meals and close proximity to great hiking, private beach with kayaks and a activity center where you could rent different items based on the season.
