"Check in was easy. The kitchen was extremely well stocked down to a lobster pot to our delight.The setting is beautiful and we very much enjoyed the two level deck. There is a bit of a hike to get to the river. All and all a very peaceful relaxing location. We had 9 adults and 4 children and were very comfortable."

"This cozy cottage is in the beautiful town of Phippsburg, next to the break-taking beach of Popham State Park. With its site on the ocean shore, the sound of waves soothes your soul, and the beach lends all kinds of opportunities for exploring both at low tide and high tide. Our host and hostess were very responsive to our needs, and my daughter and I greatly enjoyed out stay."

The only misunderstanding was that we would receive a text if we could get in before 4:00 and I never got that text. I got an email instead and never noticed that until after 4:00. "As advertised, except for the "walking distance to downtown." It's over a mile, no sidewalks, very hilly bendy road, difficult for cars and the plethora of work trucks to see you. We had some elderly folks planning to stroll into town, but that was a hard no. Maybe ok if you're young and active, but certainly don't plan on safely walking home at night. Otherwise, a pleasant old place. "
