This tiny house is the perfect spot to enjoy the best of Maine, with spectacular 180 degree views of the bay and 150 feet of private beach!! It is located in Trenton, Maine with easy access to all of the area amenities. Acadia National Park and other attractions are near, yet you are in a peaceful, quiet and beautiful waterfront setting. Watch the tide come in, see the seals swimming up to the shore, listen to the loons, or watch the deer graze in the yard with your morning coffee. What should we do today? Go hiking, biking, sailing, kayaking, antiquing, or just sit and watch the glorious sunset and ever-changing waterfront view from the picture windows. A dinner by the shore on the picnic table and a fire pit under the stars are a perfect ending to a fun-filled day. Even romantic, you might say.

The Tiny Trenton Beach House has an open living/dining/kitchen area. Two large picture windows look out onto the water. The kitchen is fully equipped for your family and guests! There is ample counter space, plenty of pots and pans, kitchen gadget and dinnerware. Cook inside, or use the grill on the deck with a water view and an ocean breeze. .
The loft bedroom has a super comfortable queen sized bed. Just make sure you are able to climb the ladder-like stairs to the loft! You need to be able to hold on coming up and going down .
The bathroom has a small shower, sink and toilet. There is also an outdoor shower to clean up after wading in the ocean, or kayaking in the sunset. All Linens, blankets and towels are supplied.
There is a pull out sofa bed in the living room for overnight visitors. This tiny house also has wifi and 5G internet access. Bring your laptop to play your favorite movies through your wifi connection. There is AC for the warmer days, and heat and a fireplace for the cooler nights. There is a fire pit, and beach access for swimming, kayaking, and sunbathing.

Kayaks are available for rent locally to use from your private beach and boat launch!
Approximately 10 miles to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Schoodic mountain, Schoodic Point approx. 18 miles. Ellsworth 8 miles. Close to trails, beaches, shopping, restaurants, golfing and grocery stores.

A Beautiful View

The view at the property is absolutely amazing! The house itself was cute, charming and very cozy! It was easy to find, quiet, peaceful and in a great location (roughly half an hour from most attractions in the nearby area)! We really enjoyed our stay here! While the listing does mention the ladder to the loft, people should be aware that the ladder is completely verticle with no hand holds near the top of the ladder, nor at the loft entrance. The ladder does shake a bit too. This makes getting up and down difficult. Also, one of the ladder rungs had loose carpet that I worry could be a slipping hazard. Overall, we enjoyed our stay a lot, just didn't love the ladder.

This home and property are great. It was clean, communication was efficient and the relative location to MDI was better than expected. Each day after hiking we rushed back to the house to catch the beautiful sunset on the water. We were happy we could grill as well. The house had everything we needed. The ladder to the loft is quite steep although this was expected per the description. We plan to stay again in the future!

Loved the spot on the water and the tiny home itself! Wish we would have had time to use the fire pit. Only downside was no sheets for the pull out bed I had to lay towels down because the mattress looked like something I didnā€™t want to lay directly on. There was a spare comforter though which was helpful!

Perfect Location

This property was exactly as described. So relaxing, and approx a 25 minute drive to Bar Harbor/Acadia. Please be aware, the sleeping area would not be conducive for a larger individual. The bed was super comfy šŸ‘ We enjoyed the fully functional kitchen, fire pit, and loved the wildlife right in the backyard. So glad we chose this tiny home!

Beautiful views was a short drive to Acadia and shopping at Bar Harbor. Definitely preferred staying at this comfortable retreat rather than in the harbor. We had a great time! Would definitely stay again!

Tiny House - 2024 Ladies Vacation

We loved the property and would certainly stay again if ever traveling back to the Bar Harbor/Acadia area. The house was quaint and comfortable both inside and out. It is conveniently located just outside of the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor which was nice to come back to after long days of doing the tourist type activities. My only suggestions would be to add a picnic table and/or chairs for closer to the firepit and possibly have the option of kayaks/canoes/paddle board whether included in the rental price or at an additional cost. Thank you again for a great weekend stay.

A lovely place to enjoy the nature of Maine!

My partner and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. We had been to Acadia before but wanted to stay a little closer to the park this time. You can drive to Acadia or down town bar harbor is less than half an hour. I canā€™t tell you how convenient this location was for enjoying outdoor activities. We were also close to Ellsworth, a town with a great brewery (Fogtown) as well as shops and restaurants. We got to wake up every morning to a private view of the bay and watch the sunset every night. It was so relaxing. The tiny house had everything youā€™d need. An indoor and outdoor shower, a kitchen stocked with anything youā€™d need to make a meal, and a fire pit to enjoy the summer nights a little more. I would love to come back!

A Refuge From The Crowds

I stayed here with my teenage daughter and highly recommend it. This place is about 20-25 minutes from Acadia and Bar Harbor but it is very peaceful and a welcome refuge from all the crowds in those places. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked.

Our stay at the Trenton tiny house was perfect for our long weekend visit to Acadia. The house is in a great secluded location, but close to the island. We loved having our own private beach area to unwind and relax after long days of hiking. I would definitely stay here again!

What an incredible location!

Such a tranquil location with the most amazing 180 degree view of the water. We enjoyed the cool breezes in the hammock to read, picnic table for breakfast, sitting on the rocks to paint, and exploring the shoreline at low tide. So peaceful. The location is amazing in itself and then it is also so well placed to just a short jump to Acadia! The tiny house was perfect for my teen daughter and I for a 4 day adventure. It is small, but it is a really well organized space and honestly had everything we needed and then some and perfect for the two of us! She loved the super cozy loft and I enjoyed the pull out couch. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and outdoor space to eat. We can't wait to go back...we loved this little slice of heaven!

The house had everything we needed to make our trip memorable. The view of the bay with the mountain landscape in the background was very pleasant. Big Fun in a Tiny House

We spent 4 nights in June at this adorable tiny house. The property was such a beautiful sight as we drove up. Right on the water and secluded from anyone else. It was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed. As stated, the ladder to the loft is straight up, but if you take it slow there was no problem going up and down. I will say that I am not sure I would call it a queen sized bed since that is what we have at home. It definitely seemed more like a full size bed, but it was so comfortable! It was a tight fit for my husband and I. The bathroom reminded me of a cruise ship sized bathroom, but again, very clean and sufficed for what we needed. We gathered some fallen tree limbs and built the most beautiful fire in the fire pit. With an adult beverage in our hand and the sun setting over the water, if could not have been a more beautiful first night there. If the bed was a tad bigger, we would for sure stay here again. Our local recommendations are: biking the carriage roads, pizza at Zappa's (nicest ladies that work there), dinner at Stewmans, drinks at Beer Works and Atlantic Brewing, coffee at Precipice and 44 North in Stonington. We took the ferry from Stonington to Isle au Haut and hiked all day. Highly recommend!!! Thank you for making our 31st anniversary trip a big success!

Cozy Stay

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Tiny House. It was cozy and comfortable for the two of us, and the view of the bay was wonderful. We also thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit. The neighborhood was quiet, and not too far from Bar Harbor / Acadia. There is also a nice little bakery 10 minutes away.

Delightful and Action Packed Weekend Getaway

Loved listening to the rain drops on the leaves outside the loft window. Lulled me to sleep nightly. And the birds and loons were a delight to wake up too. Kayaked at sunset and ebikes through Acadia. Fall in Trenton was a dream! Would come back here!

Great Minimoon Location

We had a great stay for our Minimoon trip to Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park. Close to Bar Harbor and lots of great food places, but far enough away to enjoy the peacefulness and quiet that this place offers. You canā€™t beat waking up to the beautiful view of the Bay every morning. Offers everything needed for a trip for 2. Side note, if you have any mobility issues, this might not be the best stay for you. The bed is located in a loft up a short steep ladder that could be problematic for some. Our top recommendations: Breakfast: The Stadium in Bar Harbor Coffee/Pastries: Sugar Bakery in Trenton Food overall: Learyā€™s Loved our stay! Canā€™t wait to come back!
