"Love the location … for the obvious and some personal reasons. The description of this property is spot on. You couldn’t wish for a more perfect location and the overall space is wonderful. Yes, the building is tired and the general standard of fixtures, fittings and furnishing isn’t what you would expect for the cost. But if, like us, it’s all about the view and the perfect location, it more than makes up for downsides. Thanks to Rupert for helping us have a truly memorable stay."

"We stayed a week at this lovely cottage in Mevagissey. The house is very comfortable and we loved the furniture and decor. We were 2 couples, but it would also be great for family vacations. The kitchen was well-equipped; we usually did breakfast and dinner at the house. It’s a short walk into central Mevagissey, although be aware that it is on a hill. We didn’t have a car, but there are 2 bus stops near the house and we were able to get everywhere we wanted to go using public transportation. We...

"Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....

"The property is spacious and well positioned for the beach. Difficult to park a car on their driveway so had to park elsewhere. The BBQ and oven were not clean. Leak in shower room and one shower not working but fixed whilst we were there. The property is lovely and the host personable. With the charges for cleaning i would expect it to be spotless. Check in time too late at 5pm and check out 9.30am too early should be at the very least 10am and 4pm. Especially with all the steps to get...

"Cliff House is amazing! This house is stunning, the views from every room are incredible. The house is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay. The hosts were great, Anne was so helpful throughout our stay. Having the direct beach access was fantastic, we went down every day. Thank you for a wonderful week, we will be back!"

"Oh my word, this cottage went above and beyond our expectations. We sat looking out of the window most of the time, it was just beautiful. Watching all the birds, foxes, rabbits, as well as cows and sheep in the nearby fields and a distant view of the sea. "Cottage has everything you need, however I wouldn't let my dogs or children swim in the lake as it looked disgusting, the promised dog shower has been removed so we couldn't shower our dogs. The cottage is in the middle of a working farm & although we didn't mind listening to the tractors & farm animals it was spoilt a little when one of the dogs was howling next door. "This is our 3rd stay.Still good experience.Room was fine although it got very warm ,maybe time to invest in air conditioning.We were out until gone 3pm and returned to find the room hadn’t been serviced.(not sure what’s going on with housekeeping).Drinks selection in bar was poor,I’m all for local but the cola was dreadful."
