"We were very pleased with our choice of this house. The beautiful location, great window views from both bedrooms, accessibility to Acadia National Park, and the restaurants that were close. The only challenge was the parking spot so close to the road. Otherwise, highly recommend."

"Great location for hiking Acadia NP. Inquired if there was a fire pit, the booking agency said no, but we found out as we were leaving that there was a shared fire pit-disappointed. Stairs to bedrooms were very steep-ok for able adults, but hazardous for children and others. Enjoyed the accommodations and location."

"The place met our needs for sleeping/showers etc. Kitchen well equipped if you came to cook. Was disappointed there was no fire pit (does offer chiminea). Furniture is not very comfortable for TV watching. Also when looking at the photos it appeared the water was closer than a mile or so away. Also was not expecting to have to take the trash to the road, strip beds, start laundry or make sure everything was wiped down. What was my cleaning fee for? "Apartment was wonderful for my family and dogs. Very private road to walk the dogs, and apartment was very clean and had all the items we needed for our stay. "We enjoyed our stay very much. If it had been warm enough to enjoy all of our meals outside that would have been wonderful. We didn’t plan or pack for any rain but when it poured for a solid day, we were thankful for the cabin’s shelter and wifi and umbrella when we went out. "What a wonderful find. 15 minutes to Acadia; 25 minutes to Bar Harbor. This 2 BR unit had everything we needed. James is a wonderful host. Easy to communicate with, helpful ( He even carried my heavy suitcase up the stairs to the unit). Beds were very comfortable.Area was quiet. We enjoyed looking a birds & wild turkeys out our window. Be aware the unit is up a flight of stairs which is clearly stated & shown in the pictures. I would stay here again next time I come to Maine."

"Great location. Easy walk to Main Street. Super service. Rooms were good, clean and bright. Blinds left a lot of day light in and sunrise was at 4;56am. So great for early risers. Breakfast was limited - Cliff Bars, Kind Bars, fantastic muffins, danish, etc. nothing fancy, but great for kids and families. "

"Amazing property. Service was top notch - employees were very friendly and really showed they cared about you. Location is great- walkable to the rest of town and minutes from Acadia NP. Id definitely stay again. Room was very clean and tidy. The only thing is that the property is a bit on the older side and room decor and furniture haven’t been updated, but not an issue at all. Totally worth staying here! "
