"Room was pleasant, the bed was very comfortable & with lovely soft pillows.
Towels were soft with a very pleasant smell that filled the bathroom. Only small complaints was the lack of Decaffeinated coffee & tea sachets, which you now expect in most establishments. Also the small TV was stuck in the corner of the room, but this only a minor problem.
The staff were pleasant & chatty & the breakfast was very nice.
This is a very nice guesthouse in a nice area, with several self-catering cottages...

The room was a single and clean, although the decor was dated (the description did say it was a Victorian building). "Had a wonderful stay at The Townhouse. Our host, Hugh, was marvellous. A perfect mix of friendly, helpful and discreet. His property is lovely. It is a beautiful old townhouse (as the name suggests) and whilst it has some small areas that need a little attention, it is full of character and very homely. We booked a small double room on the top floor and were really surprised at how lovely it was and it had everything we could have possible needed. The ensuite was beautiful. Hugh's breakfasts...
