"we stayed in the Gamekeepers residence, was spotless on arrival with pretty much all the equipment we needed for a weeks stay. Couldnt buy too much chilled food at once as the fridge is a little small but loved our stay there. the bed/bedroom is really nicely done, perfect for a couple. Minimal contact with staff which suited us as thats what we like. Close access to shops and ameneties in the town very close by, and a good homebase to explore lots of different areas of Cornwall. "Friendly family run hotel. Perhaps a little dated but the rooms were spotless and very comfortable. And a decent shower Staff were very friendly and helpful . The hotel is just a five minute walk across fields from Trevone beach and coast path so ideally located for what we wanted. Padstow is walkable. "We had a lovely stay here basic room but clean nice hot shower. The staff are very friendly and the manager is a lovely man. Breakfast was very good I cant fault it for what we paid. We also managed to use the EV charger which was really helpful. We would stay here again. "

On the last day however, we were served by a young man who didn’t seem to like my wife’s order and had a terrible attitude towards us but thankfully we were leaving afterwards. "
