"Initially at check-in they requiere $60 cash (must be cash) as a security deposite in case you trash the facilities. I'm 66 years old and an athlete going to a competition, not a partier that would trash anything, had to go get cash at bank. It was very noisy outside with few very loud talkers in addition to the drag racing noises. Not recommended lodging for a restful night."

"I stayed at a Days Inn in another state years ago and it was clean, so I booked three nights at this College Station location. We arrived and checked in around 10 pm. Once we got into the room, we saw roaches everywhere. We left immediately and headed back to the front desk, stating we could not stay there. The front desk personnel was very understanding and didn't give us a hard time about cancelling our reservation so we could leave. While the check-in staff was helpful, the room conditions...

"This property appears very old. Rooms are small. Other hotels are moving toward changing linens every other day and that’s understandable. However, this property does not make beds or empty trash cans every day either. When we first walked in there was about one/fourth left on the toilet paper roll with no extra roll in the room. We had to ask twice to get extra towels. The vanity in the bathroom is so old the finish on the wood is beginning to curl up. It looked like there was mold on the vent...

"Very well located, self parking was close by, valet was also available. Room was clean, bed comfortable; room mini bar was well stocked with drinks & snacks. Surprised there were no tissues or makeup remover provided (maybe I missed them). Hotel bar was pleasant & prices were reasonable. "
