Beautiful home with lots of flexibility for entertaining an extended family. Both daughters and their families. The kitchen well stocked with food prep and serving wear. The fire pit was a big hit for an outdoor hotdog and s’mores roast. Nice gas grill for doing steaks. Easy access to the downtown area by driving or river walk. A very nice 9 hole golf course was less than a mile away. The beach area was well maintained and the river at the mouth was shallow enough and low enough flow that our 7 yr old grandson had a great time playing with other kids in the water. We rented a pontoon from the marina for the day and had a great time cruising on Elk Lake. Blueberry picking was only a 35 minute drive to Traverse City and back up on Mission Peninsula.Good restaurants were only a few blocks away. Also had a nice afternoon visiting wineries on Mission Peninsula.

Our family got together for the week. The home was beautiful, and there was space for all of us. The location was perfect. We've stayed in the same area several times. We like that the market is close by and we're able to walk to restaurants and the beach. Having bedrooms on both the top and lower floors was great. The deck is so lovely and relaxing. We spent a lot of time out there. Over all a great home well located in Elk Rapids.

This rental for our family vacation was excellent. The house met our needs for eight adults and two little boys. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening! Location was exactly as advertised, grocery was within walking distance, quick drive to the marina for our boat. And we fell in love with Elk Rapids. Kristie was a great host! Highly recommend,

Family vacation

This house is beautiful and very spacious in a great location. It was clean and well stocked. Kristi is very quick to respond. I spent the week with my grown children and young grandchildren. The house had everything you would need to cook and enjoy your time. The only complaint I have is that it had a lot of glass decorations that I had to put out of reach for the young children. If you have children under 4 years old, you will probably need to child proof when you arrive. Lovely big yard.and room to play. I would rent again if I need four bedrooms.

Perfect Home and Location

This four bedroom house easily accommodated our family of 9. Plenty of room to spread out. Great location near a grocery store and main road. Loved taking quiet walks around the neighborhood and into Elk Rapids downtown area. Great location in between Traverse City and towns to the north. Fully stocked house in the kitchen and bathrooms. Homeowner was very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend and return! We fell in love with Michigan!

This Elk Rapids rental was a real gem. It was perfect for our family group. The kitchen was so well equipped....one of the best I have ever seen in a rental. It made it a breeze to have breakfast and dinner at home. The spacious layout and multiple decks really helped us, as we had to keep one COVID positive family member separated from others in the group. We will recommend to friends who need to rent while in Northern Michigan.

Amazing!

This house is so well cared for and comfortable. Everything we could have possibly needed was available in the kitchen and there is a market just a few hundred feet away. The yard, deck and fire pit are all perfect. The beds are comfy and there was plenty of room four our small family. The hosts responded instantly when needed and made check in and out super simple.We also loved that our dog was able to vacation with us. Finally, this is a great location for visiting Traverse City, boating on torch lake or just relaxing around the house. Plenty to do and see near this amazing property.

Amazing home and hosts!

The home was absolutely immaculate. A prime location for beach getaways here in northern Michigan. The home was able to accommodate for my group of 11 with 2 dogs with more room to spare. Kristi was an amazing host! Replied back in timely manner and made sure our stay was perfect. Definitely will book again!

Great Home, Great Location and Great Hospitality! Happy Guests!!

Working with Kristi was so easy from booking to arrival, to answering all our questions and checkout. Upon arrival her home was well lit on the outside as well as the inside, which was very nice since we arrived at night. The home was very clean and well taken care of with a very welcome feel. The home was so well stocked with cleaning supplies, spices to do your cooking, kitchen and bathroom supplies, as well as plenty of extra towels and linens. Kristi really thought of everything, it was so nice not having to run to the store right away! We enjoyed the convenient location, just a walk to the local grocery store, cute little town with restaurants, boat marina, Elk Rapids Sandbar (beach) and farm stands with freah produce and delicious homemade pies. Our favorite moments were spent at the Elk Rapids beach and watching the most gorgeous sunsets! Elk Rapids beach is a very well kept and dog friendly just in case you decide to bring your pup along. Also, wanted to mention about the very comfy beds! We have a very special place in our hearts for Elk Rapids and our stay at Kristi's home, which is a sure bet we will be returning sometime soon. Thanks Kristi for a wonderful stay!

Perfect House For Family Reunion

This was the perfect house for our Family Reunion. Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Littles were all extremely comfortable in this spacious and well appointed home. Kristi was wonderful to communicate with and answered all questions immediately. Super conveniently located less than a block away from Village Market, and also an easy walk to downtown where you can access the beach, playground, restaurants, shopping, etc. Thank you Kristi for a great stay - we will be back!

Family Vacation

We had a great stay in a very roomy house for 8 adults and 3 children. We really liked the walk ability of the town-grocery store, downtown Elk Rapids and Shorts were all close. The house was clean, well equipped with everything we needed and in a great quiet neighborhood.

Beautiful Home in Elk Rapids

This house checked all the boxes ! So clean , close to everything and very spacious! We had a big family reunion in town and this was the perfect spot for our extra family to stay ! The home was stocked with all the amenities and the host Kristi was super easy to work with ! We will definitely rent again !

Well-stocked and very comfortable

This was the most well-stocked kitchen in a home we've rented. TVs in every bedroom and living area. Well-suited for multi-generation families as my the older family members can stay on the main level while the younger ones stay in the lower level. We enjoyed the decks and the walkout basement (along with the firepit). Ample outdoor seating. Lovely landscaping. Responsive host. Tons of parking (you can easily fit 7 cars). Close to the village (not to mention the Village Market) and beaches. Look up Torch Lake Pontoon Rentals for a boat rental (the owner Doug was great). We had a great time.

Perfect!

We thoroughly enjoyed this rental. It’s in a nice neighborhood, close to downtown Elk Rapids. Grocery store literally a few steps down the street. Elk Rapids has a beautiful public beach with tennis, pickle ball, basketball courts, play area for children, and bathroom facilities. This house is a couple minutes from it. And you are close enough to enjoy Traverse City and the winery area. This rental has huge yard. Great deck and patio area. Would 100% recommend this house. Owner, Kristi, is very easy to work with.

A lovely home with everything you need.

This rental had a wonderful kitchen, totally stocked, with all new appliances and a large farm sink. The lower level had brand new carpeting and a washer/dryer that were also new and top of the line. The bed linens were very soft and comfortable and the towels were thick and big! Beds were all comfortable and the bedroom with a queen, a twin, and a trundle bed were perfect for our son and his family. There were lots of kid toys and games which our family really enjoyed as our weather was somewhat chilly and rainy.

Well-kept home in a very good location

Family of 10 with 4 young children and 6 adults with plenty of space for all of us. Location was very good with ~1 mile to the desired park/beach on Elk Lake and downtown. Plenty of offering nearby and a few hundred feet from a perfectly appointed market that met our family’s needs for the week. Would stay here again and will definitely be back in the area in the future.

Great Location!

House was big and space for the 10 of us. The location was a quick drive to a great beach on Grand Traverse Bay at Veteran's Memorial Park. We got to visit Shorts, Pearls, Ethanology, and Waterfire Winery. All within a quick drive.

Relaxing

The house was just as pictured - which was great. Plenty of room for 8 adults and 2 dogs to relax after taking some hikes, kayaking and visiting Sleeping Bear dunes. I would highly recommend renting this house.
