Charming Ranch, 2BR Oasis Downtown Travelers Rest

2 Bedrooms will be available for use. The third bedroom will be locked and unavailable. The driveway leading up to the property is shared by our neighbors. Please use caution when coming and going.

Guests will have access to the entire property grounds (approximately 2 acres). The only area not included is beyond the fenced-in backyard.

On-site, there is a shed and two boats located at the back of the property. The shed is off-limits and contains lawn equipment. The host may access the boats from time to time by driving onto the property.

The host also reserves the right to mow/trim the property as needed.

The Brook: The property features a beautiful "babbling brook." While it provides a tranquil atmosphere, guests with small children should be aware of the water feature on the nearly 2-acre lot.

Wildlife Sightings: Because of the acreage and the creek, it’s common to see local wildlife (deer, birds, etc.) passing through the yard. It feels like the country, even though you're downtown!

2. Vintage Charm vs. Modern Updates

1950s Character: The home is a well-maintained mid-century ranch with original hardwood floors and a masonry fireplace.

Modern Amenities: While it has the soul of an older home, guests will enjoy a remodeled kitchen with granite countertops, updated appliances, and a remodeled hall bath with a marble shower.

3. Parking & Large Vehicles

Space to Breathe: Unlike many downtown rentals with cramped street parking, 7 Brookside Dr has a massive lot. Guests can easily park an RV, boat trailer, or multiple cycling vans.

Shared Entry: The gravel driveway is shared/common, so guests should be mindful of staying within the designated parking areas (3+ spaces plus a 2-car carport).

4. Unbeatable Trail Access

No Car Needed: You are literally "feet" from the Swamp Rabbit Trail. This is a major benefit but means guests should expect some light "trail noise" (the happy sound of cyclists and walkers) during peak weekend hours.
