"Wow! What an incredible property and house. We were a group of families with small kids, and it was heaven for them playing in the pool, on the dock, on the playground, and in the expansive yard. Lots of beautiful sunsets on the patio for the grown-ups too. We never had to leave. Can't recommend highly enough. "

"Property was clean and appeared as advertised. Some noticeable pet hair on the drapes. The owner was great with communication, he even had a video showing you exactly how to get to the property as it is a little hidden gem. Great fire pit, we didn’t use it but it was very nice w/ Adirondack chairs surrounding it. Cozy and comfortable and just a 15 minute ride to town. "

"The house was perfect for our stay, and we loved it. Very convenient location to downtown and the finish area of Historic Bridge Marathon. We appreciated the cleanliness of the house, lots of pillows, blankets towels - if needed. Beds were comfortable. Loved the history of 1850 T. Blade house. Although the furniture suited the era, a couple of pieces should be replaced or restored. I saw previous reviews for concerns of floorboard safety in upstairs bedroom, again realizing it's an 1850 house....

"The house was completely spotless - the location was perfect! And the host included a s'mores kit, and baited crab traps and had them waiting with crabs in them when we arrived! This was an excellent weekend - we would recommend Hudson House to anyone!"

"We loved this property and we can’t wait to go back. This property had everything that we needed and then some. We wanted to stay on the water with a pier. This property may have had the longest pier on Madison Bay. The host provided crab pots, tongs, baskets, outdoor cooker and steam pot. We caught crabs from the pier with the equipment provided by the host. We also caught a 23” rockfish from the pier. You can see the nearby boat ramp from the end of the pier. Water is deep. House is very clean...

"Used this house for an Eastern Shore golf weekend. Loved the location, right on the Choptank River and was 20-30 minute access to nearby golf courses. House was very clean and welcoming. Kitchen has updated appliances and adequate plates and utensils. Bedrooms were very comfortable. Nice deck for sitting out and enjoying the river views. Would definitely recommend this house. "

Since it is a fairly new addition to VRBO, we thought it could use a little more info, like a portfolio with the combination to the bike locks, where to go to eat and visit, etc. Also, the only coffeemaker was a Keurig and we didn’t bring any K-cups.
