Trani is a charming village overlooking the Adriatic Sea that dates back to the Norman era, when Frederick II of Swabia made it one of his main coastal fortresses. The town offers splendid natural scenery and monuments rich in art and history. The marina is marvelous, dotted with traditional fishing boats and dominated by the town’s symbol, the magnificent Cathedral of St. Nicholas the Pilgrim, built with the characteristic local stone and towering over the seascape. Also not to be missed is a visit to the Swabian Castle, dating back to 1230 and, together with the Cathedral, one of the city’s highlights, visible from the sea.

The accommodations are located in a quiet residential area, just 350 meters from Trani’s first historic beach (Colonna), 250 meters from Sen. Mongelli Beach, and a short distance from the picturesque promenade leading to the Monastery and Abbey of Santa Maria di Colonna. The historic center is a 30-minute walk or a 5-minute drive away. The city bus stop is also just 50 meters away, and essential amenities are within easy reach: supermarkets, cafes, and a pharmacy are all within 500 meters.

- FROM TRANI STATION: The apartment is about a 30-minute walk away, or you can take bus 355_254 to the Trani - FRONTE COLONNA stop, which is a 1-minute walk from the property.



- IF YOU’RE TRAVELING BY CAR: The accommodations are located outside the restricted traffic zone (ZTL) and is accessible by car. Street parking is free on white lines (NOT guaranteed). You can reserve an off-meter parking spot in a fenced-in, uncovered area.
