"A real gem on the river. The host was amazing and quickly responded to my questions. We truly loved this peaceful cabin surrounded by trees. Nature abounded: bears, eagles, otter playing in the river, kingfisher hunting, geese flying in formation above the water, truly a nature lovers destination! Townsend is the a great location - close to the Great Smoky Mountains but far enough away from the busy tourist side of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. "The house was amazing and friendly. Very responsive you didn't have to wait long to get a response from them. Once arriving to the cabin it was dark porch lights came on through the motion lights. Open the cabin door it smelt great with very clean. We slept great. Woke up the next morning with a beautiful view of the river having a cup of coffee watching the squirrels play in the trees. This place is amazing It's cozy it's comfortable it's quiet."

"We had an excellent, relaxing stay at this cabin. It was well stocked, decorated very cozy, and a great get away for a couple. Both the indoor and outdoor hot tubs were a great bonus. The hosts were responsive and accommodating, and the location put us close to plenty of good dining and activities. There are quite a few stairs leading up to the cabin, but the place is absolutely worth it! "
