The family friendly, easily accessible new Peacefulside Retreat!

Spacious new home w/ HOT TUB and fast high speed internet in a quiet area, great for walking and biking! The Townsend Biketrail is less than 1000 ft away! Easily walk or bike to the only grocery store in town- the IGA! And a tunnel in front of the IGA goes under the highway, making crossing the road trouble free. Our home is easy to find- no winding roads or steep hills to climb, and conveniently located to everything Townsend has to offer. Plenty of free parking and Mountain Views included!

Host was very welcoming and great communication. The extra blankets are always a bonus. The scenery was beautiful and such a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room to spread out in the house. Christmas decorations were a special touch. Having the extra kitchen amenities and condiments were helpful. The weather was so nice we got to enjoy the outside patio furniture. Would def recommend staying here & would rent again.

Everything was PERFECT!!!! The hostess did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We would LOVE to stay at "Peacefulside Retreat" again. It is the cleanest and most comfortable place we have ever rented in the mountains.

This house was absolutely perfect. I rent a lot of houses and we stayed in a bigger cabin last time we were here but would stay at this house when we return. We came in town for the UT game (GOVOLS!!) and to visit the area after. The house comfortably fit us, our daughter and my grandkids. The rooms are spacious and the biggest is that the host has thought of everything. From leaving snacks and sodas and a bottle of wine to the amenities that we might need. The kitchen is stocked with all the things. Restaurants are just a walk away or a short drive. We got up early one morning and drove Cades Cove and saw a family of bears (momma and three cubs). Was a fabulous weekend and a fabulous rental. In the top 2% of places I have rented for sure (I rent 4 times a year almost every year for the past 20 years).

Incredible stay! Everything was wonderful, clean, and the house feels brand new. They even have extras for little ones like children, plates and cups, a stroller. Wonderful layout for family to stay, bathtub for a littles. Beautiful decor with fall touches.Will absolutely stay again! I hope these owners have other properties because it was such a stand out place!

Beautiful home in a perfect location on the peaceful side!!

Missy’s house even more charming and lovely than we expected. It’s perfect for guests of all ages and stays of all types, in our case, a young family looking for a quiet weekend near the national park. Missy’s hospitality is second to none, everything is thought of and spotless. We will be back.

Best place in Townsend!

Excellent location (close to IGA and restaurants) ! House was CLEAN and the “extras” were so helpful ! Missy is an awesome host. She is very thoughtful and her attention to detail is spot on ! If you need a place in Townsend, don’t pass this one up.

We have been coming to Townsend for years and usually stay in a cabin; this time we decided to try something different; this place was straight out of Southern Living; very clean and comfortable, convenient to town and the Park, owner was responsive to a a few questions; overall very pleasant experience

The house was very clean and modern. All the bedrooms were spacious with large bathrooms. The upstairs area had a nice window seat to look out to the amazing mountain views. The kitchen has a large table that can seat at least 6 people. The house is surrounded by a large grass lot perfect for relaxing in the sun. Got to use a pellet grill for the first time, this is a great grill. We even left a bag of pellets for the next guest for them to enjoy. The couch is comfy, yeah i even fell asleep on it. Definitely would stay at this house again.

We stayed here for our daughter's wedding in Cades Cove. This home is beautiful, clean, and well thought out. Missy, the host, is extremely kind and helpful. The personal touches for your trip that she put into it makes it extra special. We love coming to Townsend and have found our new "go to" home to stay in.

Peaceful Side Weekend

Property was fantastic with lots of amenities. Each bedroom has its own bath which was convenient for our family. Easy check in process and great communication from Missy. Within walking distance to Peaceful Side Social (great food), Ice Cream, Coffee, and IGA. Overall, enjoyed the stay and will be back.

Perfect size. Perfect location.

We stayed here for spring break with 4 adults and 3 children. This home was amazingly clean and so well stocked! There was nothing forgotten. The location was ideal for restaurants, sightseeing, etc. The upstairs area was perfect for the kids and we loved all having our own bathroom. We will definitely be back!!
