"The staff we encountered, and another we asked for help with heating, were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were plentiful, although no fruit or brown bread was offered. Toast was offered, but with no suitable crockery. Not enough plug sockets in the bedroom and what were on offer, were not all usable ! Heating was provided in the room - although with no instructions - which proved necessary. Bathroom facilities were good and clean. Parking was plentiful. It was odd that a decaf coffee option...

"The room itself had been recently decorated in a modern decor, unfortunately our bathroom had clearly been smoked in recently, not the hotels fault given all the signs, but the smell was very overpowering and unpleasant. "We've stayed at the Greenbank multiple times over the past couple of years so I feel like I can give a fair review of a typical experience. The staff are an absolute highlight: always friendly, polite and professional, from the desk staff to the restaurant staff to the cleaners. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are generously sized and equipped with everything you might need for a standard stay, plus a few nice extras. I particularly appreciate the wonderful smelling toiletries...

"The room was spotless. The owners/staff were friendly and helpful. I got upgraded to a sea view room and it was absolutely delightful! Beautiful bay windows with the view of the calming sea. The shower is amazing!! The water pressure was absolutely perfect and the way I like it. I had a lovely veggies breakfast in the morning. I would absolutely recommend this guesthouse. It’s so close to everything but offers such warmth and home vibes, I will definitely be booking again!"

"We only stayed the one night, so didnt get chance to use the facilities. Although we didnt have a dog, there was plenty of evidence that the hotel was very dog friendly.
