"Room and bed comfortable, walk in shower, table top ironing board and iron were very useful prior to a family wedding. Green table cafe on site is really good. Also The White Hart provided hotel breakfasts. Staircases were a little fusty with an odd air freshener to compensate. Its an old listed building so to be expected but might smell fresher if the stair carpets were steam cleaned and better air fresheners. Beautfiul location. "Room was really clean and spacious. Child's bed was not substantial at all. Hot weather meant room was very hot as no A/C. Only 1 small fan available which wasn't effective for a large room. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Spa was small but ok. Pool unavailable due to 'high levels' on last day of 2 nights. Didn't have breakfast there but menu looked ok. We had dinner on one of the nights and staff were great. Food arrive in good time. Quality was ok."
