Country House 'Menta y Canela' with Mountain Views, Private Terrace and Barbecue

Casa Rural Menta y Canela is a beautifully restored early 20th-century farmhouse built of stone and wood, located in Tórtoles (Ávila), in the heart of the Corneja Valley and less than two hours from Madrid. The house accommodates up to 10 guests and offers 200 m² across three floors, featuring a warm décor and refurbished antique furniture.



Ground floor: living-dining room with integrated kitchen and fireplace, spacious double bedroom, and full bathroom.

First floor: two twin bedrooms, each with a private bathroom.

Second floor: two twin bedrooms, one bathroom, and a lounge with spectacular valley views.



In total: 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped (oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, coffee maker, toaster). There is a flat-screen TV, heating, free Wi-Fi, bed linen, and towels included.



Outside: private terrace with mountain views, patio with garden furniture, covered picnic area, and exclusive-use stone barbecue.



Pets are welcome at no extra charge. Smoking and events are not allowed indoors. There is no private parking, cot, or extra beds. Children aged 5 and up count as adults. Check-in from 14:00 to 22:00 (please inform us of your arrival time); check-out by 12:00.



The area offers hiking trails, mushroom picking, horseback riding, and a nearby paragliding spot. Enjoy natural pools in the Corneja river pools (Navacepedilla, 12 km) and a public pool in Piedrahita (15 km). We recommend visiting the medieval town of Bonilla de la Sierra and tasting the local cuisine. From Ávila, take the N-110 towards Plasencia; at km 308, turn off to Bonilla de la Sierra and after 9 km you will reach Tórtoles.
