"This is a very concise, beautifully thought out space with a deck overseeing an expansive gorgeous valley filled sheep, birds, rising sun and moon. Iona and her husband could not have been more attentive and helpful. My husband and I have traveled the world seeking prehistoric monuments and sites and Kilmartin Glen is moments away as is its museum. The concentration of millenia of sites is exceeded only by the number of rock art sites even nearer the Pod. We recommend it highly!"

"Brand new, exceptionally clean pod with amazing pull down bed. Well stocked with tea facilities and toilet rolls.We booked the pod for our Son as our local accommodation wasnt big enough. He loved the pod for 4 nights. My only comment is that a door blind may be helpful.Stunning views and the campsite was clean and quiet. It didnt take away the tranquility of the village.Great shop and pub next door.We cant wait to return next year when the site will be even more blended into the countryside."

"It’s basically in Oban proper. Easy walk to groceries, dining and distillery. Not completely on the property owner but the alley could be cleaned up some."

"Apartments were just what we needed. Place was clean and comfortable. We stayed 2 nights and used the place to explore Skye. Bathroom was large and kitchen had what we needed. Great views right outside as the property is a sheep farm on a small loch with waterfalls coming down the hillside. "

"Great location next to the distillery."

"The best part about this VRBO was the location. It really was perfect. We were an 8 minute walk from the train depot, as situated in the middle of the most charming town of recent memory, and we had an ocean view. The flat was very clean. The bed is firm (bordering on hard) but I would stay again. "

"Our stay in Balvenie was very good. Nice apartment in a convenient location in Oban. One critique / watchout for future renters. The VRBO Listing showed the apartment as having both a washer and a dryer. We chose this apartment based on the advertisement of having a dryer as we knew we would need to do laundry at this juncture in our trip. As it turned out, the listing was wrong...there was no dryer. Several drying racks were present, but no dryer. The host / owner / VRBO needs to update the...

"The apartment is very nice and in a great location. Jacob's ladder was fun to climb, and the pictures and view makes it worth it! My only complaint is that it is on the 2nd floor (3rd if you're from the USA). With an older mother, it was difficult. Maybe state that on the listing."

"Location in the heart of Oban so good if you don’t have a car. Bedrooms and bathroom recently decorated and beds comfortable but both bedrooms could do with some more furniture (dressing table/chair/hooks?). Not as well equipped as expected and some of the kitchen equipment needs replacing (saucepans and utensils). Bedrooms clean but the kitchen drawers/cupboards need a good clean (we had to wash the contents before we used anything). It had the feel of student accommodation rather than the...
