The Pinyon House With Excellent Views

The Pinyon House is your home base while you explore the expansive red rocks and exhilarating surroundings of Capitol Reef country. The home is conveniently located in between Torrey Town and Capitol Reef National Park along the historic Highway 12, situated atop a desert bluff with stunning, 360-degree views out of every window.The property is full of natural vegetation including pinyon pine trees, juniper trees, yucca, and a variety of cactus.
The cabin is perfect for the vacationing family, the creative artist, and the exploring adventurer. The home includes a full kitchen, 3 king-size beds, WiFi, a fireplace, 3 decks, washer/dryer, and fantastic views so you can take in all of the natural beauty while you unplug and recharge.

Scenic Stay Near Capitol Reefā€”A-Frame Perfection

Obsessed with the views at Pinyon House!This A-frame near Capitol Reef National Park is a total dream. Every window frames a stunning view. The home is beautifully decorated, thoughtful details everywhere, and it was spotless. Such a quiet, relaxing escape with all the comforts of home. AMAZING

We spent 2 nights here while exploring CRNP and it was fantastic for our group of 4 adults/4 kids. Amazing views, loved watching the stars, and the hosts were so great to work with. We will definitely return.

Truly delightful!

Perfect in every way. Peaceful and quiet with great views and quick and easy access to the highway. Well appointed and beautiful kitchen, great hot tub, bright and fresh bedrooms and baths. Would definitely stay there again!

Amazing home to stay, will book again!

Amazing house so many awesome things to make your stay comfortable. Full kitchen with accessories you need for cooking and grilling. The hot tub is amazing. The location is great easy to find. Great host and communication from them. Will definitely stay here again. The hot tub made it so worth it after a long day of hiking.

Excellent Stay!

We had a lovely stay at the Pinyon House in Torrey. The house was beautiful and well stocked with everything we needed. We did a lot of hiking while in the area and it was so nice to return each evening and cook and relax and star gaze. The hot tub is fabulous. The houses on property are far enough apart but when star gazing it is hard when one of the neighbor's has all their lights on. Obviously the owner has no control over this. There are notes in the house clearly stating to turn lights off and it was not an issue on the deck, just when using the hot tub. It was one of the nicest places we have stayed.

Perfect location

The cabin was ideal for us. It has a great kitchen, nice comfortable living area and ideal sleeping areas. The up stairs shower is to die for and the soaking tub in the downstairs bathroom is perfect after a long day of hiking.

Sunrise, Sunset & Dark Sky Designation

We only had the opportunity to stay here 1 night while visiting Capital Reef NP. This home was by far our most favorite during our entire 2 week trip. The home is exactly as shown in the pictures, views are incredible, location is quiet yet close to Torrey. With the decks on the front and back of the home, you will enjoy sunrise and sunset with glorious views in the backdrop. Torrey earned Utahā€™s First International Dark Sky Community Designation. The evening sky was spectacular. It brought back memories of our childhood!

Heaven on Earth

Every detail of this location was considered. The bedding was comfortable, the decor was stunning, the flatware was weighty! I was also locked out of just room for a bit, and the owners responded immediately to help me get back in. And the location?!?! Divine. We hot-tubbed under meteor showers and rainbows. I will be coming back!

Absolutely beautiful!

We stayed in 4 VRBOs on our vacation and Pinyon House was by far everyone's favorite! The house was very clean, beds were comfortable and the location was ideal. Two minor notes: 1. the master bedroom got very cold in the mornings while the air conditioning was trying to cool down the kitchen and front room, 2. Needed a few more baking pans/utensils. Not a great spatula to flip eggs, nor a pan to bake brownies. We used a muffin pan, which worked out OK. Overall, a beautiful, beautiful place that we would be lucky to stay in again! Loved it! Thank you for sharing your awesome house with us!
