Pack your swimming gear and stroll to the nearby sandy beach. Torrevieja also offers a long seafront promenade for walks by the Mediterranean, as well as numerous restaurants, cafés and shops. Visit the harbour and take a leisurely stroll along the Paseo Vista Alegre. Discover the famous salt lagoons in the Lagunas de La Mata y Torrevieja Natural Park, including the Laguna Rosa, known for its pink hue. You could also take a trip to the Parque Natural de las Lagunas de La Mata and, with a bit of luck, spot flamingos and other waterbirds.
