"Lovely building and really helpful owners / staff . Was really clean and tidy and the breakfast was very good . Only a couple of minor things really , the shower head kept dipping down so was a bit of pain when you were shampooing etc . Bit noisy at night time but obviously the very nice owners can’t help that ."

Our stay was somewhat spoiled by drunken guests and their friends in the next room making excessive noise and shouting between 12.30-2.30 am, keeping us awake, security was called twice to try and resolve and did offer us a rom change in the middle of the night which was not practical. On speaking to Harry the manager it appears this was not the only case that evening. The hotel should consider introducing a quiet policy after 12 with...

"The staff were helpful. The reception area is nice. No air con. The room I slept in the curtains were filthy. Dead flies stuck to netting. Couldn't close curtains they were just stuck. Filthy windows never been cleaned. Outside window was disgusting. All smelt of damp. Carpet in the hallway was damp"
