Located only 750m to the foreshore, via a scenic parkland reserve, or approx 8 mins walk to the Gilber St shops, the house is fully equipped and ready for your holiday. Leave the car at home and stroll to the beach, playgrounds, coastal walking trails and main shopping precinct, avoiding peak season traffic.
Only minutes from Torquay’s main shopping precinct, you will literally have restaurants, the Bowls Club, parklands and the Surf Coast’s beautiful beaches on your doorstep – park the car and explore by foot to truly enjoy this enviable holiday destination.

Getting Around:
Off-street parking available for 2 cars. This house is within walking distance to Taylor Park, beaches and the main street shops and restaurants. A short drive will take you to Torquay main beach, and the world famous Bells Beach.
Take a walk to beautiful Fisherman’s Beach, via Taylor Park reserve at the end of the street.

A Perfect Stay at Coastal Bliss in Torquay

Justin and I just returned from an incredible stay at Ocean Edge Holiday Rental, and I can’t recommend it enough!This place is a dream, especially those traveling with dogs. The spacious outdoor area provided plenty of room for our dogs to roam, and the outside shower was perfect for rinsing them off after a fun day at the nearby dog-friendly beach.The location is fantastic, just a short walk away from the beautiful dog friendly beach, the popular Salty Dog Café, where we enjoyed our morning coffee and all the shops / restaurants.The house itself is a gem, with well-appointed facilities that have clearly been designed with both human guests and dogs in mind. There’s nothing you could want or need that hasn’t already been thoughtfully provided.The kitchen was fully equipped, complete with an abundance of condiments in the pantry, making it easy to whip up our meals. The cosy living area was ideal for winding down after a day of golf or in my case was the perfect setting to catch up on some work with gas fire on and dogs waiting patiently to go for their walk.Everything was impeccably clean, and the attention to detail in the rental was impressive. Emma was incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring our stay was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.If you’re looking for a place to recharge with friends—human and furry alike—Ocean Edge Holiday Rental is the perfect choice! We can't wait to return!

Wonderful Weekend Retreat

We were looking to have the long weekend away from Melbourne and we were really pleased with Seaside Holiday in Central Torquay. It was just as advertised, very clean, modern and well decorated. It was close to the bushland park, central shops and the Salty Dog Cafe. The kitchen, laundry and bathroom facilities were well maintained and had all the things we required. The heating was top notch on what was a cold few days away. Wonderful location. Look forward to staying there again in the future.

Comfortable, convenient, cosy

Very comfortable setup in a great location - a quiet spot, but still just a short walk to the beach, and to the shops and restaurants around Gilbert Street. We were there in late autumn and the gas fireplace and ducted AC did a great job of keeping the place cosy. Just two of us on this visit, but there's plenty of space if you bring more. Lots of nice touches like the cool posters of the local beaches (Jac Juc and Bells etc). Would definitely return.

Torquay get away

Everything you could possibly need AND more was included. The location of the property is so central to the park , restaurants, beach and shops. You don't have to get your car out of the carport unless you're looking to do a long drive. A huge secure backyard for our dog. Would definitely stay again and recommend to our family and friends.

Lovely home away from home!

We were very happy with this house, it was just as advertised, very clean, modern and well decorated. Great kitchen and laundry facilities and lovely bath products (hand wash, lotion, shampoo etc). Terrific location. We will definitely be back!

Pleasant from booking to leaving the keys!

not bad but...

Overall the property was OK, a couple of things to keep in mind.. 1. There is an asbestos shed at the back that you will want to keep the kids away from 2. The shower on the laundry leaks all over the laundry floor, which makes it quite messy

Great location and great for families

Excellent accomodation. Clean and spacious … has all the amenities you need and backyard is big and enjoyable for kids. Impressed by all what was available .. cutlery, bbq area, and great living areas and bedrooms. Also was pleasantly surprised by outside shower. Close enough to beach to walk … save the hassle of finding parking at beach if you drive … also was close enough to main beach to walk. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay there.
