What can we say other than “absolutely fabulous “. The house is amazing with beautiful views and facilities. Every bedroom is a good size so no one felt disadvantaged . The pool is perfect and beautifully warm . A big advantage is the local pub where we enjoyed a wonderful Sunday Roast . We felt very privileged to stay here and will visit again .

Our Christmas stay at Maidensea House was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the hosts welcomed us with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. The location of Maidensea House is exceptional, offering the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. Nestled in a picturesque setting, the house boasts fabulous views that added to the festive ambiance. The nearby pub was a delightful spot with fabulous food. During the day, we explored the surrounding area through great walks, which revealed the stunning natural beauty of Torquay. The house itself was beautifully, creating a cheerful and inviting atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, ensuring a restful stay. Overall, our Christmas at Maidensea House was a memorable experience. The combination of great hosts, a fabulous location, and the charming nearby pub made for a stay that exceeded all our expectations. We left with wonderful memories. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a special getaway

Excellent
We had an excellent weekend helped by the weather and also the facilities that the property offered. Even if it had rained the use of the heated pool, cinema room and the games room would still have gone down well. Our only small moan would be that my wife found it difficult to get out of the lounge settees. Would definitely recommend it to others.

Family Summer Holiday
The stay was really nice. Te property was amazing with delightful views. The location was amazing with nice local pubs and the most amazing coastal walks. The whole family had a great time and even when it rained we were able to make use of the cinema and games room, meaning that every day was a full on holiday day. We would highly recommend this location and property to others family who want to enjoy a fabulous holiday on the south coast.

My stay
My overall view of this property is 10 out of 10. The only thing i could pinpoint that was wrong for me, as a wheelchair user was that the downstairs bed was too high and that there wasnt a shelf to put toiletries on in the shower which proved difficult for me. The house is beautiful and has got everything that you need for a relaxing holiday, and the children loved the pool and exploring the gardens. I would recommend this holiday home to anyone. Thankyou for letting us stay

Lovely weekend family getaway
Beautiful house, with plenty of room for all the family. Well fitted out for all our needs. We all enjoyed the pool, games room and cinema room. All set in a great location with stunning views.

Beautiful house, beautiful views!
The owners Ant and Sandra couldn’t be more helpful if we needed them in any way especially for us leading up to our stay was so easy to contact and help. The house is beautiful each room well equipped, the views are something you don’t want to leave, the pool the kids loved as well as the games room! For us it was the area have to drive to most places and roads are narrow and steep apart from a pub and cafe at the bottom of the hill and a tidal beach that’s all you have , parking down the bottom down the hill in peak times is quite impossible unless super early or late! For us would of been good if we could of strolled along the beach with more bars/cafes etc! But with this being said the property is stunning and we didn’t want to leave just got to be happy to drive with having a family especially!

This is a superb location and a wonderful modern house for a large family group. The swimming pool and games room were much appreciated, as were the four fridges!
