Rich in character and history, the property retains many original features including high ceilings, ornate mouldings, fireplaces and carefully selected antique furnishings, while recent renovations ensure all the comforts of modern living.



Sleeping up to 10 guests, the house is ideal for families and groups looking to explore the English Riviera. Accommodation comprises two double bedrooms, two bunk rooms and two additional single sofa beds in the living room. Guests share a modern bathroom with shower and a toilet plus there is a separate WC. The two double rooms also have their own washbasin.



Those with babies and toddlers can also make use of the baby bath, travel cot, high chair and children's dinnerware.



The colourful kitchen has been fully updated and is well equipped for preparing meals at home, while the separate dining room provides a welcoming setting for gathering together. A utility room gives added convenience.



Throughout the property, you'll discover fascinating historical touches, from handmade furniture crafted by the owner's grandfather to local artwork, including paintings by Devon artist Hazel Brown and beautiful glass pieces from nearby Cockington. Nearby St Marychurch and Babbacombe offer a great selection of independent cafés, restaurants and shops, while central Torquay provides even more dining options, shopping and a lively nightlife scene.



A scenic walk from the Downs leads down to Oddicombe Beach and Babbacombe Beach, or you can take the charming 1930s Babbacombe Cliff Railway.
