"Loved the house, plenty of room for the family. Loved having family dinners at the giant dining room table. Had out of state family visiting VA who wanted to see DC and the Shenandoah Valley so the location worked out great. I would definitely rent the house again. "

"What a shiny gem this is amongst the entrance of the Shenandoah! Expansive very new house. Gorgeous banks of windows and spectacular views. Huge dining and entertaining spaces upstairs and the lower level is just so much fun! Pool table, darts, foosball, a huge wet bar complete with lounge TV seating, fridge, barstool seating and of course neon signs and cheeky slogans. Bedrooms are huge and lovely. Bathrooms very modern and higher quality. Outdoors you’ll find a hot tub and a pergola with cozy...

"The cottage is lovely, with modern kitchen and bath and charming furnishings throughout. Views are wonderful and the location is quiet, set well back from the road. The host is very prompt and courteous in communications. She went above and beyond the call of duty in helping us when I temporarily mislaid the key."

"Mark is the consummate host. Prompt, professional and thoughtful. The cabin is stunning inside and out. Extremely clean, well stocked, rustic yet modern in ways you’ll appreciate. All the comforts of home yet feels a world away. Can’t say enough good, would definitely stay again. "

"10/10 clean and just like photos. Very comfortable beds and linens! Plenty of cookware, great coffee options too. We will be back! "

"This was the perfect little cabin for me and my husband. The location was perfect for us. We went to the Laray Caverns and hiked Old Rag. The owner was very helpful and has great communication! Planning another trip soon! "

"The view from the deck is amazing! My partner and I spent the night in the hot tub looking at the stars above us, and we cooked with the kitchen equipment and ran the fireplace all night. It's definitely a very bumpy/rocky road to the house that's best conquered with an AWD car (or with their included 4x4s at the start of the gravel road), but it's 100% worth it!"

"A train came past the house at 7am in the morning. There is no mention of early morning train activity in the description. The mattresses were extremely soft and the blankets were very thin…so we were chilly. The house is beautiful…just these details are something to consider."

"The property is in excellent condition, and as described. The host is extremely responsive and provides fantastic detail about the property. Very quiet rural neighborhood down a gravel road. Fantastic views from the cabin. Only complaint is the king bed was overly firm and the frame was noisy. The comfort of the bed just didn't match the excellent quality of everything else in the property. We enjoyed the selection of DVDs, games, and jigsaw puzzles."
