Enjoy the entire private home primely located in Uptown Maumee right in the center of all the action! This 1862 built house has charm for days. Enter using the electronic lock system. Original staircase, trim and hardwood floors great you. The 1st floor includes high ceilings and a separate living/dining area. The living room boasts 2 couches (one is a Queen mattress pull out), end tables, plenty of lamps & lights, coffee table and Smart TV w/ Sling TV provided (like basic cable) or you may use your own log in for other streaming apps.
The dining room area features a table w/ 4 chairs and a storage bench with additional bedding for the pull out couch.
There is a great coffee bar set up w/ Keurig or drip option. We provide starter sets of coffee for our guests.
The kitchen is quaint, but functional. Calming gray palette w/ a built in stove w/ electric cooktop. Countertop microwave, toaster, dual sink & full sized refrigerator w/ Brita pitcher. There are plates/bowls/cups/silverware for our guests use, we hope you feel at home.
A basic set of pots and pans as well as spices are here too!
We placed a speedy new stackable washer and dryer into the kitchen so that our guests do not need to climb basement stairs when they want to do laundry. FREE for your use!
Upstairs are bed #1 w/ a Queen bed w/ memory foam semi-firm mattress, 2 end tables w/ reading lamps & blinds/curtains. There is also a dresser, settee, and a large (for this age of home) closet w/ hangers.
The hallway has hooks for hanging clothes, towels etc and leads to the full bath w/ tub/shower combo, black fixtures, plank floors, gray vanity & medicine cabinet w/ mirror. We provide an ample supply of white towels, and Shampoo/Conditioner & body wash. The first aid kit is located in the medicine cabinet. Theres also a blow dryer.
Bed #2 features a Full bed w/ memory foam semi firm mattress, dresser, floor lamp, dedicated work space & a walk-in closet w/ hangers, extra blankets, iron and ironing board. There are black out curtains and blinds in this room.
It is located within walking distance to the shops/restaurants/bars/coffee & other amenities of Uptown Maumee including the Maumee River. This home features off street parking in the driveway. There is on street parking as well.
This home is a 10-15 minute drive from attractions such as the Toledo Zoo, Toledo Art Museum, Stranahan Theatre, Glass City Center, etc.
Our home is professionally cleaned after each guest, we try to keep the cleaning costs as low as possible while maintaining a high standard of clean, we never require guests to do dishes/laundry but it is helpful if the outgoing guest starts these since many of our incoming guests ask to check in early.
Because some bookings are back to back, it can be difficult to accommodate early check-in and late check-outs. If you need additional time in the home please consider booking an extra day. If our cleaner completes the clean early we do our best to notify the incoming guest that they can check in early.

By booking our home you agree to not smoke anywhere on property. This includes cigarettes, cigars, cannabis, vaping and E-Cig. Furthermore, you understand that if you or any guests are confirmed to have smoked a $250 fee will be imposed.
By booking our home and bringing pets you agree to be a responsible pet owner and follow all local leash laws. You agree to pick up after your pet and understand that a $100 fee will be imposed if it is confirmed that your pet had accidents in the home or was not picked up after. You agree to pay for any pet damages.
Please keep in mind that staying at an VRBO is different than a hotel. The usual nightly rate of this home is around $100, although it can be higher during weekends/holidays. We stand by our home being less costly than a local hotel room while accommodating more people and being pet friendly. We ask that guests be kind when it comes to leaving reviews. VRBO reviews of 4 stars or less can result in the listing getting kicked off of the platform. We are open to honest feedback. Guests are provided with a direct maintenance number should maintenance be needed during a stay. An info sheet is also located at the property near the front door.
Adding or changing the number of guests, pets, or dates is easy to do through the VRBO platform. Information regarding check-in, check-out, access & wifi instructions can be found in the VRBO App under the "trips" section. Since VRBO discourages communication outside of the platform we ask that our personal cell phones are used for emergency purposes only.
