"Fabulous, our room 402 had a huge balcony with views over the estuary and of the pier. Staff were very friendly and attentive, evening meal of sharing steak was cooked exactly as we like it and breakfast was also very nice, highly recommend the full English for the hungry or sausage muffin. The location is also great, up on the cliff away from the noise but only a short walk to the lift and no more than 5 minutes walk to the pier. "Me and my new husband spent our wedding night here absolutely perfect. We arrived late and the night manger was perfect warm greeting and showed us to our room to our surprise he was there for breakfast as well. "Lovely overnight stay. Room was small, but sufficient for our needs. We had booked just a standard room so knew it was not going to be large. Good quality toiletries and coffee/teas as well as chocolate biscuits provided ! Everything very clean. Bar and restaurant tastefully decorated. Breakfast - good selection and good quality. Just about all of the staff were very efficient, helpful and friendly, apart from the chap on reception at midday when we arrived, who did not appear very welcoming...

"property located in a quiet residential area located at 20 minutes walk from town centre .property is a bid dated and could do with a bit more cleaning .no much water coming for the shower ,bed and sofa bed very uncomfortable and we had a cockroach visiting while we were there .we found a trap under the sink in toilet therefore business must be aware of issue. not many choices for a family room in the area especially at last minute but we won’t return in this hotel "
