Peaceful and Restful Stay

Beautiful place to have a peaceful vacation and relaxing stay. Grilling on the back porch and resting as you sit and listen to natureā€™s sounds was quite enjoyable. Loved our time here! We would definitely stay again.

Lovely little cabin!!

We loved staying in this cabin! The overall check-in/check out process was very easy. We had no issues, no complaints or anything. It was a great area to stay just a few minutes outside of Boone!

Okay experience. Check in had some issues with front door code but got it figured out. Downstairs bedroom hallway smelled like sewage but was able to stay upstairs. Clean and shown as advertised. About 20 minutes to Boone and 20 to West Jefferson so good location. Quiet road with nice open driveway.

Wonderful porches

The two porches were wonderful. Spent each morning and late afternoon out on the porch. With the fans, it was very comfortable. The cabin was great, clean and comfortable. We did not mind starting a load of laundry but having to bring our trash or be charged $25 was ridiculous. Especially since we were paying a cleaning fee.

Perfect get away!!!!

This cabin was accurately described in the main description but also in the reviews that I had read before bookingā€¦..we were less than 10miles from Boone (an easy route to/from town) there is a Dollar General about 3 miles from the cabin. Fully stocked, all utensils, pots, pans that you need in the kitchen. Plenty of towels, extra throw blankets, detergent, etc. Great covered porches with lots of shade and ceiling fans. For us it wasnā€™t a huge deal to take our trash with us, there is a dump a couple miles away heading in to Boone on same Rd so it wasnā€™t a huge inconvenience. Quiet, secluded area. Simple and relaxing. Def recommend and hope we can return for another stay in the future!!! Only con: no hot tub, but not a deal breaker in the slightest!!

Very very good.

Everything was great. Only feedback was mark light switches as to what they operate. Flood light didnā€™t work at all. Kitchen tools etc were there. Will consider staying here again.
