"The surrounding area to the property is gorgeous and has great potential for a nice place to get away; however, the lack of information prior to arriving was a bit of a let down. Firstly, there was no indication before arriving that the place we would be staying at was currently in the process of being remodeled. Loose insulation, cracks in the ceiling, and tiny pieces of stone/tile on the shower floor were just some of the things noticed. Secondly, please do not advertise a space as pet...

"Yes, it was a little out of the ordinary, but that's a good thing! Easiest "camping" experience you'll ever have. Your own private (new, flush) commode, kitchen, and huge shower! A/c and heat in the camper. What more could you want? Definitely an adventure in the hills of eastern Virginia."

"We loved our stay here! It is walkable to the West Jefferson shops, restaurants, and sites. There is a beautiful view of a park and the mountains. Being a family of 5, we enjoyed having 3 floors, 2 kitchens, 3 sleeping spaces, and 3 bathrooms. The house is furnished with everything we needed. The property manager was quick to reach and answer any of our questions. We highly recommend it! "

"I had the most amazing stay at this stunning cabin tucked away in the North Carolina mountains. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the natural beauty and peaceful setting. "A charming rental with sweet Harry Potter-inspired details. When you enter you can ask Alexa to start the magic, which I thought was a clever intro. The den is cozy and a nice spot to relax and the bedroom has plenty of light and windows, with a comfy bed."

"Mom and granddaughter had a delightful Easter weekend in the cabin, with visits to Boone, Blowing Rock, and family connections further out. Was a great place and very peaceful and secluded. Highly recommend and everything was very easy and efficient. "

"The property was as perfect place for our quick trip to the mountains. Near Blowing Rock and App Ski Mountain. The house was clean and easy to access. We liked using the outdoor fire pit on the cold evening. We loved the house and will be back in the future."

"We come to the area annually to visit our family and only wish we'd found this spot sooner! Clean, convenient and spacious. We have younger kids and a dog and the park across the street was a great bonus, too. Easy access to all that the area has to offer. Kelly was super responsive and helpful throughout -- we can't wait to come back! "
