"The staff at the property were very nice and helpful. The only difficulty about the property was the lack of an elevator when one of us had mobility problems. The staff volunteered to help us find another property where this wouldn’t be an issue but we loved the property and the location so chose to stay. The staff went out of their way to make things work for us and we had a wonderful stay. I would give this property an extremely high recommendation… my favorite stay of our 5 week long...
"The room was older but clean with a nice location near to the waterfront and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good but my wife and I were never asked if there were any food restrictions with my wife being a vegetarian. She gave me the bacon and ham from her plate. Coffee served was good. Definitely not fancy but comfortable for sure."
"A wonderful retreat property and so nicely kept up. A delight to walk the extensive boardwalk to the river and through a lovely wooded area. Also, so close to Kejimkujik Nat'l park."
"Great location to walk into town, but off the main road. Charming old Victorian. Lovely large room with brand new bathroom and big shower. Covered porch with view of the water. Charming dining room for breakfast and a nice selection of food. Lively pub next door for dinner (but not noisy)."
"We throughly enjoyed our brief stay at the Lark and Loon. Kevin and Lesley are fantastic hosts. They took fantastic care of us from the start with Kevin providing a warm and informative welcome and the super tasty frittata , fresh bread and berries for breakfast they whipped up and more tips and tricks provided by Kevin.
Our room was spacious and cozy, the bed was super comfortable and the shower was great. They had excellent wifi to boot!
