"We loved the remoteness of the house. It was quiet and relaxing. We went into Port Lavaca and Victoria for food and entertainment. There is very little in the tiny town, so if you are looking for lots to see, this is not the place. It was an easy drive to the Lighthouse beach in Port Lavaca. "

"Gorgeous, relaxing spot in luxury waterfront area!Beautiful view of goose island state park and the bridge to Fulton and Rockport. Check in and check out smooth. Contacted property manager for a pool question and she was so attentive. The house is quiet and the beds were ok- Mattresses are firmer. Kitchen could use a few larger fry pans and outdoor grill needs cleaning. Loved the drive into the property and saw so many deer!Great property!Oh and the property pool and boardwalk were wonderful...

"Just love this spot. The water was right outside the screened porch. Got to fish whenever we wanted. The marina is about 12 minutes away: bair and apparently a great restaurant. Didn't get to try the restaurant. The people around were so friendly. The dolphins put on a show on two different days. The house had everything you could just about need. The screened in porch was everything! We got to hang out at night with no bug issues. Many mentioned mosquitos in the visitor book, but luckily for us...

"We had a blast at Magnolia beach! Lots of fishing at chocolate bayou, magnolia beach fishing marina, and the port lavaca pier! Even whent swimming at the port lavaca community pool! Tonjas house is amazing, and neighbor Judy is such a doll! It was a great place to stay and a wonderful home base while we were down there having fun! Will definitely book this house again in the future!"

"We were house hunting in Victoria, wanted to find a quiet spot to relax, but close enough to Rockport to go for dinner, etc. This small cabin was perfect for my sister and I with our small dogs. "The home accommodates large families but is more like a fisherman’s paradise in regards to sleeping quarters. There are three private bedrooms downstairs and there is an huge upstairs bedroom that has beds for about maybe 12 people or more. Great for family reunions where you can put all the kids upstairs. Only problem is there is no restroom upstairs and only an outside entrance—no indoor staircase. So if you gotta tinkle at night—you gotta use the outdoor staircase and come into the main...
