My family and I checked into the property on 7/23/2025 and checked out at 0730 on 7/24/25, and encountered several concerns we encountered during our very short stay.Upon arrival, we observed some issues that made our stay very challenging and did not align with the property description as listed on VRBO. Specifically, there were notable cleanliness concerns that impacted our stay, and we found there was nowhere to sit inside the propertyāthere is no, ZERO, seating inside. Unfortunately, due to high temperatures and significant bugs, spending time outdoors was not practical for us. This was very uncomfortable for eating. We left the property to be able to dine inside, free of heat and pests.Additionally, the morning after our check-in, there was an incident involving a dog urinating from the upper porch onto the lower porch in the only available seating space provided, which further affected our experience. We noted a smell of urine on arrival, but attributed it to the surrounding lake. However, after this incident it was apparent there were other contributing factors.Access to the beds was extremely limited. Any additional person has to crawl over to get in and out of the bed. The bathroom has no ventilation, causing extreme inconvenience because in order to have any ventilation whatsoever, the door must remain open, meaning that other guests must disperse for privacy. The absence of indoor seating or space allows for standing or lying in beds.
