The cabin itself is always clean and continues to be updated over the years. Jessica always has everything ready for us and all we need to do is just have fun."

"The cabin is adorable, and the property is well kept. The stream behind the property is gorgeous, and there's a cool walking trail on the property that's great for a morning walk with our black Lab. We really enjoyed not getting cell reception in most of the areas with ATV trails, and fishing, because it made the trip more enjoyable with the rest of the world left behind. The cabin does have wifi and a TV, so it was nice to choose when we could plug back in."

"We booked this for my husband's 40th birthday. The location was perfect! Beautiful views from the porch. We loved relaxing in the swimspa. It was wonderful on a cold night. We cant wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the river more. Hosts were always available and check in was a breeze"

"My family had a wonderful time at Ron's log cabin. It is very much secluded and relaxing. We brought our 2 dogs and they loved it. We spent time fishing, kayaking, and hanging out on the beautiful porch. It was a great time!"

"The perfect place to get back to nature and connect with each other!! Modern amenities in the north woods, cozy and quiet! Had the best time with my 2 young boys and hubby on our ski weekend! Host is very responsive to any questions, it’s the 2nd of their units we’ve stayed at and looking forward to future bookings!"

"The home looks over beautiful Sunset Lake. You cannot beat the views from the deck. A perfect place to have your morning coffee. Plenty of room for our family. The owner was quick to respond to all our questions. We were in town for a funeral, but will definitely stay here again under better circumstances."

"This property is absolutely perfect if you’re looking for peace and quiet and nature! We love to cook, so the kitchen and the grill provided us with everything we needed. We used the wood-burning stove for a cozy warm fire at night and we built a beautiful campfire outside as the snow fell! "We were very happy with our stay at the Nordic Haus. Check in and out was very easy. It’s nice to have a hot tub to soak in and gives the kids something to do at night because skiing closes by 4pm. The only thing was it says it’s 6 bedroom but it’s only 5 bedroom and then has two beds in the loft. The loft is basically part of the living room so we couldn’t have anyone sleep in those beds or they would be kept awake at night by the noise and then woke up early with any early risers making coffee...

"House was exactly what we needed. Lots of space for everyone. Kitchen had supplies needed to cook and bake. Great communication with management.we arrived in the evening , realized at bedtime there was no hot water called the property management company in the morning and they had it fixed quickly.Not a huge deal but inconvenient after traveling for 24hours. House was well stocked with linens and beds were comfortable. We travel to the area once a year and will return if available."

"I highly recommend this beautiful home for your family get-away. The pictures do not do it justice. We stayed with our 5 young adults (age 16-22) and the layout of the house was perfect. The kids could split up- playing pool and listening to the jukebox in one room, sitting in front of the fire reading in another, playing board games at the dining room table, etc. It was an easy drive to Ski Brule. "We were overjoyed with our accommodations. Room to gather yet have personal space. Kids enjoyed the checkers (but one black piece was missing). The host, Tom, was very helpful and made us feel very welcome despite very short booking notice on our part. We are hoping to come back again."
