"The staff at Spearfish Canyon Lodge and Roughlock Falls Restaurant never tried to charge me a fee to use my Visa DEBIT card! The restaurant Cheyenne Crossing did try and charge me a fee to use my debit card, which is a federal offense. Different rules apply to charge card vs. debit cards. Thank you to Spearfish Canyon Lodge! A classy comforting experience!"

"Us 4 loved our stay! From time If check in with Darci, and the three orders, who I didn’t get their names, were all so helpful and so friendly! Which you just don’t find anymore!! The hotel was Clean! And the breakfast was good!! Our beds were very comfy! Had hiccups with our keys, but we didn’t mind! Was always taken care of immediately! Darci was a gem, as was the gentleman that was at front desk! Thank you all for the great stay! We would definitely come back to Hampton in Lead!!!!"

"Nice hotel with clean, well maintained rooms and friendly staff. The only hiccup was when we first checked in the key would not open the door because the batteries in the door lock were dieing. They may want to periodically change them. Breakfast was also good. I would stat here again. Also the restaurant next door (The Magnolia Soup Kitchen) was awesome."

"We didn't like the floorplan of the room. The vanity area outside of the toilet/shower room was too small and the vanity was too low. The door to the shower/toilet room opened inward so that it blocked the shower door. It was just all too small. The hallways outside the rooms were narrow and scratched up. The ceiling in the breakfast area needed repair, the paint was peeling off. The breakfast was marginal at best. The elevator was too small and hard to get a luggage cart in. We wouldn't...

"Nice clean campground closely located to the city of Sturgis. Beautiful year-round."

"The room was nice and luckily we were on the first as there is no elevator. The workout room was pathetic, with one treadmill, one elliptical, and a few dumbbells from 5 - 25 lbs. But was I was really disappointed by was the small continental breakfast."

"There was a jacuzzi tub in our room . I was happily surprised by that until we found out it didn't work. The hot tubs outside were great. Other than the jacuzzi not working the stay was outstanding! Would absolutly stay here again. The rate was great as well."

"Stayed three nights for work. Spent a lot of time in the lobby and used the tables that were equipped with power for computers and phones. Excellent idea and very helpful to have. The rooms were great! Loved the bed. Very comfortable. Great stay! Definitely stay again."
