"We had an amazing visit! Our apartment was beautifully equipped and was in an unbelievable location! Everything was walkable and the people in the area were incredibly friendly. We loved hanging out in our apartment and the common areas. We will definitely use Barsala again in other cities - they were phenomenal with our customer service and the place was a 10 out of 10!!!"

"Pros: The property was clean, well-stocked, functional, and located in a convenient part of town if you need quick access to downtown Durham. The property was stocked with common necessities (shampoo, food seasonings, clothes iron, hairdryer, etc.). The only things missing were coffee creamer and tea, but I was able to get those things nearby. The main bedroom was perfect for a typical family of 4 - it had a bathroom inside the room with a very nice double shower. This was my first BNB...

"Turning 42 I was not looking for a turn up. I wanted peaceful and relaxed. That is exactly what I got. Check in was an easy process. The only problem that I had was I read the code incorrectly, and Communication was slow, but other than that getting into the property was easy. There is a shared driveway that I was not prepared for so be cautious when inviting people and having multiple cars, parking is limited to roughly about four or five cars. After that, you will have to park along the grass...

"This is a beautiful waterfront home. The location is remote and secluded which is exactly what we were looking for.We spent the majority of our time sitting on the screened porch just enjoying being away from the hubbub of real life.Everything from check in to check out was great. Communication was timely from the host and he is super helpful.We are already looking at our calendar for a possible Fall retreat at this home."

"Great place for a weekend stay for a wedding. Had everything that we needed. Check in and check out process was easy. Had a bit of trouble with the lock on the back, but figured it out with the detailed directions. Would stay here again"

"The pictures sold me & did not disappoint. The property was just as pictured. But its not what was pictured the created a memorable weekend, the place has more then you needed. When we travel we bring a small household of needed items, but I didn't need anything when I say it was fully stocked it was just that. But it was labled so you can return what you used back to its spot. Look the place comes with easy to follow instructions lol. I love it. "

"Just stayed in this incredible house for our family gathering to attend our daughter's graduation from UNC. It was just perfect. The house is light and bright with lots of windows and had plenty of room for our family to gather and relax. It was very clean. It's in a lovely, private wooded area but close to everything. We would have stayed here for every visit to see our daughter if we found it sooner. And the private pickleball court is the icing on the cake. I highly recommend staying here!"

"We needed a place to stay overnight before my mom had surgery at Duke hospital. This house was beautiful, clean, and everything you could need was provided. Check in was simple and the checkout process could not have been any easier. 10/10 recommend and would definitely stay here again. "
